Rupert Read is one of the founders of Extinction Rebellion which organized powerful direct action events in the UK and elsewhere in 2018 and 2019. He is also the co-founder of Transformative Adaptation, a movement which seeks to apply transformative theories and practices to a world in which climate change has become a reality and is no longer avoidable. Rupert is passionate about the climate crisis and brings astute thinking and seminal actions to bear on the great challenge of our time.
Humanity Rising’s COP 27 Program is co-sponsored with two groups:
