On Day 80 of Humanity Rising, Mary Olson, Founder, Gender Radiation Impact Project, showcased the disproportionate impact of nuclear weapons and radiation on women and girls. Her call to action opened the portal to the stark and unspoken reality lived by women – that our bodies are disproportionately (in comparison to our male counterparts) embodying the risks and threats rendered by radiation, toxins released by the fossil fuel industry, medical interventions, including the most recent COVID 19 vaccines and a litany of other environmental factors. These factors relate to our biology. Layer in the socio-economic and geo-political factors affecting the female gender, along with the dynamics associated with climate justice and systemic racism - we have a ticking time bomb on our hands, ever more fueled by Code Red.

Now is the time for radical change. It is time for a deeply rooted and divinely inspired paradigm shift. It is time for unconventional processes. It is a time for us – those with the passion, experience, intellect, wisdom, and power to author our next chapter for humanity. This is the agenda for Humanity Rising’s Women’s Summit.

So where would YOU start? We began with the world’s top TO DO List – the Sustainable Development Goals. How would YOU turn them inside out? We reversed their letters -from SDG to GDS – Girl Driven Solutions. How would YOU approach their redesign? We decided to give them a makeover – from sustainability to regeneration. Where would YOU begin such a makeover? We began by uncovering their original essence – the place from which regeneration unfolds. Our quest begins with unfolding their inherent beauty – not in the language of how they are labelled today – but in their original natural state.

Join us on October 25th as we undertake the inquiry into beauty and what beauty is trying to tell us in the midst of Code Red for Humanity. Come and participate in the launch of Girl Driven Solutions – as we reimagine, reframe and reignite the magic of the divine feminine as we get ready to makeover 5 SDG’s – the focal point of the HR Women’s Summit April 12 & 13 2022.

The SDG Makeover is an opportunity for each of us to experience our own internal transformation as we uncover our inner beauty, truth, and powers from which our regeneration emerges. By empowering ourselves, we each become a Girl Driven Solution.

  • GDS Co-Creator: Hilary Van Welter - I will be your Chief Exploration Officer, a role I have filled for several decades as the CEO of Ascentia. I love to play in the cracks, on the fringes and at the frontiers to find enriching, inventive wellbeing of all through the significant challenges of our tumultuous world. I explore uncharted territory and unleash the magic and hidden potential from within vulnerable places and people. Inspired by my children and grandchildren, I invite you to put on your party hats, pull up your sleeves, and radically reimagine where your passion lies to create what my six year old granddaughter calls a ‘loveful’ way.
  • GDS Co-Creator: Lesley Southwick-Trask: I will be your Alchemist, a role I play as the Chief Development Officer for Ubiquity University. I love to uncover the hidden mysteries in complex issues. My time as a host for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago has shown me firsthand the courage, despair and hope living within each of us at this unprecedented time of rapid evolution. My curiosity as a transformational anthropologist has led me into the dark corners of corporate intrigue and crippled governance. My three children and grandchild continue to fuel my activism for fundamental socio-economic reform.
  • GDS Co-Creator: Rebecca Irby | Equity Doula. I will be your doula, your guide, as we birth a new world - one that is equitable & full of empathy! I have witnessed the power of storytelling change the hearts and minds of some of the most hardened, set in their ways, people. A personal story can cut through all the noise in a way a report or the news simply can't. Into this work, I bring all the stories I have been honored to hold and make space to welcome yours.
