The Chinese have recently (a few days ago)) put out a short YouTube video discussing their new achievement which they are calling "the world's first AI child". She is apparently programmed at the emotional and mental level of a 3 year old toddler. Her name is Tong Tong. It is worth watching if only to absorb the unique complications that are foreseen with this young "being" -- namely forgetting that she is not a biological sentient being. Ferrucci the power of Kindness and What we may be ... for all parents and all who love deeply ! We live in a world that needs far more creative Early Childhood Programs . Children learn through play and the need more of this . Most kindergarten programs do not provide this . There are so many more programs that do . Some school districts are more progressive but there are a few that have smaller classes . I found a pilot program by the State where I live run by my Child Development Professor and put my sons in it 1 Grade through 4 grade 10 children per class 40 children total . It made a huge difference . it was all based on Multiple Intelligence Gardner's work .
It included field trips , parent participation , and a Theme for the year .
Say China and learning this in 7 different ways ( Gardner at the time there are more now ) The cooked , gardened, and made their own videos after researching their interests in China . The children thrived
