Humanity Rising Day 219 After Chat   –   Monday April 5, 2021

Chat from AfterChat Zoom from HR Day 219:

aka ChatPeople Chat

...

00:12:06    David Pinto:    I can only say for 15 mins.

00:13:38    Kathryn Alexander, MA:    Totally agree, David - I hear you.  I try to balance these personal and societal needs.  Sometimes the global needs are overwhelming.  I have found myself getting more involved in politics to try to have more impact. @David - share your question on climate - I’ve heard many men express their concern.  We have not organized as activists yet, but many are interested in pursuing and becoming more conscious about our own impacts.

00:16:22    Kurt Krueger:    Kurt Krueger, 1-818-399-0771, SuccessSystemsInternational@gmail.com, N.E> San Fernando Valley. Please connect to collaborate.

00:18:36    Mary Thorp_WV:    Like in every area, there are people designed to focus on individual, tribe, society (global)

00:18:49    David Pinto:    Thanks Kathryn

00:19:39    Leo Jacoby:    My brother's grandson, age 4, recently said, "Only women can be doctors" -- that being his experience.

00:20:15    Veronika:    Sorry, I have to depart...work is calling.

00:21:54    Kurt Krueger:    FUN Cultural Transformative Annual Event:

Music, Art, Food, and Play attract ALL people to come together. How may we have peace and plenty for all?  Here is a practical and fun way to start solving these issues…

The annual World Fest is designed to create enjoyable times allowing one to forget the negative forces around our world, to mingle with different peoples, to allow sociological barriers to dissipate, and to learn dynamic ways for peace and thriving for ourselves and our planet, all the while bringing copious amounts of money to quality charities each year. With live streaming for the world to participate as best they can and be inspired! Major and minor cities around the world participate on the same September Equinox weekend.

Check out the entire vision: www.theWorldFestOrganization.org

Connect with me if you feel inspired with the vision. We can make the Vision come ALIVE!

00:22:11    David Pinto:    Sorry, gotta go. Hope to see you another time this week.

00:22:35    Shannon McArthur:    thanks, David bye for now!

00:24:05    Leo Jacoby:    A look at a bygone (?) culture: LINK: ::http://www.folkstreams.net/film-detail.php?id=307::

With verve and humor, this film shows the love/hate relationship that women have with the task of cleaning the family's clothes. As we see the clothes flapping in the wind and hear the voices - some proud, some angry, some wistful - we realize that doing laundry calls forth deep feelings about one's role in life. Some remember when their mothers and grandmothers tackled the same chores using washtubs and washboards, or even river streams. This engaging film pays homage to the commonality of women's experience. Most of  Clotheslines  was shot in New York City, Brooklyn and Queens.

Awards

American Film Festival, NY Area Emmy Award, 1982; Best Woman's Film, Atlanta Film Festival, 1983, Second Prize, Ann Arbor Film Festival, 1982; New Directors/New Film, 1982

00:25:29    David Pinto:    Hope I didn’t sound too harsh. But I do think men should be accepting significant responsibility for the consequence of several hundred (even thousands) of patriarchy.

00:26:19    Kathryn Alexander, MA:    From my values work Macho is all about the Protective Values Set. as we move forward that being protective doesn’t hack it - it undermines what needs to happen.

00:26:47    Kurt Krueger:    Sadly, The Separation Demon is getting more into the Society…

00:28:51    Leo Jacoby:    If we were to offer a "course/seminar" for both men and women, "Being/Becoming Human in the 21st Century" -- what would you want to include in the syllabus or process?

00:29:57    Diane Skidmore:    Wonderful idea, Leo!!! (Ideas to be included - later)

00:30:29    Kathryn Alexander, MA:    LOVE the idea Leo - maybe this is the next project?

00:31:27    Mary Thorp_WV:    thorpdesign@gmail.com

ipromisebank.com

00:31:43    Shannon McArthur:    thanks mary, I look forward to talking again!

00:31:57    Leo Jacoby:    My father taught philosophy and 50(?) years ago used a text called "Being Human."

00:33:30    David Stoney:    Thanks Sergio, Lion, Keith M. for your presentation today. I think that, in part, you’re talking about men finding their heart consciousness.  There seems to be an explosion of that more participatory mode of consciousness - that recognizes that Love is at the center of all  - around the world today.  Meanwhile could you comment on the following question:

I wonder how your mens’ work into cracking open the male egocentric bastion of consciousness might relate to how men react to the existential threat of uncontrolled global warming?  Are men who have participated in challenge, support, and initiation groups more open to that aspect of reality?

00:34:12    David Stoney:    and Steve

00:34:52    Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G:    Shake our Etch A Sketch on any preconceived ideas and Allow ourselves to show up in capacity in this Humaning Experiment!

00:35:08    Lion Goodman, PCC:    Great analogy!

00:36:40    Kathryn Alexander, MA:    I love the analogy too!

00:37:05    David Stoney:    Lion, re how the mind works, have you considered how the evolutionary birthing of our species has shaped our psyches.  Either way, I would like to dialogue with you… sdstoney392@tds.net

00:39:43    Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G:    Leaning into the Beingness in the Isness of the resonant field of All that Is. Allowing that Isness, aspect of Source, intended to move through us AS the unique expression of us the space to Be!

00:40:49    Stanley Pokras:    I don’t want to miss an opportunity to hear fro Galaxy

00:43:28    Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G:    Thank you,  Keith. Blurring the lines of our notions & thoughts extends the opportunity to Know and Be the Truth of it all.

00:43:38    Shannon McArthur:    Carolyn, thank you for bringing words from the Galaxy in such a beautiful way.

00:45:42    Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G:    Funny I have a new phone that provided the opp for me to represent "The Galaxy."   I graciously own & occupy the honored privilege of that Presencing. My WOOHOONESS shining through magnified to the ALL IN magnitude! Ha!

00:46:00    Kurt Krueger:    Here’s a 12 minutes video on the Peacemaker Meditation handout. Groups are forming together or at the same time through teleconference to bring more Peace to the Planet. Here's a Meditation practice that can greatly help. ::https://lnkd.in/gvxWsc9.m::. Peace with Everything, Everything with Peace will reverberate throughout your day… making it the focus and bringing more peace to you and others.

I would ;love your feeling on this.

00:46:38    Shannon McArthur:    Ha, indeed!

00:47:02    Kathryn Alexander, MA:    Wonderful Carol and Kurt!

00:48:05    Keith Merron:    Gotta go. Thank you everyone. What a treat to share space with you all.

00:48:18    Shannon McArthur:    thank  you Keith for coming

00:49:35    David Stoney:    The immediate present has enormous attractive and obligatory power which is why consciousness is ordinarily inveterately local

00:50:38    Leo Jacoby:    Are there precedents, before the women's movement, to men seeking wholistic development in service to all? I'm thinking of men's monastic communities.

00:51:06    Sergio Baroni:    Thank you everyone, gotta go.

00:51:15    Shannon McArthur:    thank you Sergio!!

00:52:19    Davidson:    It is a cloudy evening, so my Internet signal is poor, sorry

00:52:36    Steve Tennant:    @Leo I imagine some who fought in wars thought they were in service to all, saving the world, etc…. In addition to monastic communities.

00:52:54    David Stoney:    Our main problem is the open ended nature of desire

00:53:31    David Stoney:    Women trade sex for love, men trade love for sex

00:53:46    Shannon McArthur:    II hear that David.

00:54:13    Diane Skidmore:    So we need to share and teach love!!

00:54:37    Kurt Krueger:    The entire body, not simply the Big 3, gut, heart, and brain has the wisdom and can be tapped. Not simply gonad…

00:55:11    Stanley Pokras:    The relationship between men and women is so very complex… One very obscure aspect of this relationship is explored in a book with this title:

Paying For It: Chester Brown on Life as a John and Prostitution in the Bible

https://othernetworks.org/The_Multiversity_Project::

00:55:58    Leo Jacoby:    We look forward to future panels.
