Because there's the cost of the vehicles... which many folks couldn't afford. There's the battery production and I understand there aren't enough resources to produce what the demand would be. And, the battery's are large and the disposal of them into the landfill is a problem. Also, battery replacement is costly, 7 + years down the road. Help me understand this... Thanks ; )

Complementing the analogy oft used on HR that we need more heart (and less head?) I offer, being a newbie on dialysis, the globe needs some kind of dialysis to reinforce global governing functions. Self-regulation by reforming our consumer mindset and carbon footprint; regulation of corporate interests to balance quarterly profits with large scale global equlibrium and equity goals. Hear, here we need more global kidney function!
