On another from I had an experience when I was around 12. Was on a rugby pitch I the middle of a game. Everything stopped and I became aware of the connections between everything. These days it would be described as an expanded consciousness experience or similar, in those days, the mid 60s, it was felt that there was something wrong with me. Expect for one person who said that in many indigenous cultures it would be a signal for a vision quest. 50 years later I did my vision Quest up in the mountains of Utah. That person was right. He was my father.
