I am concerned. I could never get confirmation that my vote was counted in SC. I was told by the BOE that they just confirm received not counted. I stood in line to turn in my absentee ballot (yes, a line to drop off a ballot) (the line to Vote that day was wrapped around multiple times) a week prior to the election. IMHO based on the lines a week prior, the poll results before the election, and mostly that he was willing to cheat in GA, it is not feasible that Lyndsey Graham won by the amounts that he did, if at all. The rules on the absentee ballot were very strict about staying in the circle etc., and this… | I am concerned. I could never get confirmation that my vote was counted in SC. 11:16:05 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
HS: not a typical midterm, smart people know Democracy is on the ballot, dedicated 500+ candidates at many State levels in dozen states, also R/D/I , Lisa Murkowskin in Alaska an Republican running against a TRUMP Tshibaka (Predict Tshibaka will lose - living in Alaska-Lisa is well loved by Natives)
11:16:10 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
Is there a link to this running on youtube that I can send friends right now?
11:17:54 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
BK: muscle memory in media/politics/cutures for villanizing other, death march to see who will win, resilient foundational things to do is to move beyond binary thinking, (AK has ranked choice voting> MAry Peltola first Native Alaskan being voted for Alaska's one Congressional seat)

Cult of anti: demos, FBI, …not FOR something “THEY TOOK OUR COUNTRY AWAY FROM US. MAGA, the America that benefitted us. direct deliberate organized assault on our institutions. Jan 6, 21 when complete with investigation will be the 84 senior officials in Republican states decided and authenticated as true electors, TRUMP's attorney was advising in PA, MI, WI, AZ electoral results can be overturned to Mike Pence
11:24:37 From Charles Betterton to Everyone:
Thank you Stan for sharing the YouTube link. Sharing as widely as possible and thanks Katherine for asking!
11:25:02 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:
It's clear that there are people behind the stealing of democracy who wish to control how the government spends money on the things they sell.
11:27:05 From John Steiner & Margo King to Kat Haber, Host and Panelists:
thank you, Kat, for all you do in chat. John S.
11:28:26 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
Cult of personality working in State legislatures, to rewrite rules for voting, certification of the vote, Georgia passed restrictions to reduce the vote, changed the certification process in the state, Brad Raffensberger resisted Trump with the call 11, 781 votes, took Secretary of State removed from State election senior official in the state and empowered themselves and removed country officials in the counting of the votes authentification of vote, also in Iowa and Kansas, gravest threat to election related to machinery management, certification, reporting, 2022 deliberate campaign to take over election processes in swing states, 180 Trump endorsed candidates, for state legislatures, 30 for gove.US senator, sec of state in AZ/.NV, MI, CO senior election overseer of elections, democracy is in fact on the ballot, control of offices that run our elections to guarantee the favorable outcome for them
11:28:50 From Kat Haber to Host and Panelists:
my pleasure in deed!
11:29:00 From George Cappannelli to Everyone:

11:30:06 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
pervasive death threats agains Secretary of State beefing up security for elections she was being threatened with being hung, threats thoughout the country, now normalized realm?
11:31:20 From Kathleen McTeigue to Everyone:
Such a great synthesis of the current state of affairs.
11:33:24 From Leo Jacoby to Everyone:
11:33:29 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:

11:34:51 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
BK: how to engage everyday people used to a binary red/blue vote, in this more complex threatening Democracy, coalitions, collaborations, role that regular citizens can play,
11:35:59 From Leo Jacoby to Everyone:
What percentage of people vote?
According to the Current Population Survey, 2020 voter turnout was 68.4% for women and 65.0% for men. About 9.7 million more women than men voted.
11:36:01 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
HS: 30% who do not believe stolen election, as a reporter practical evidence of constitutional level at voting level, researched the diversity and unpredictability that will come into play this fall
11:36:22 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:
I believe that there is a criminal conspiracy to infect the public with the Anti-Democracy virus.
11:37:26 From Leo Jacoby to Everyone:
Gallup. On December 17, 2020, Gallup polling found that 31% of Americans identified as Democrats, 25% identified as Republican, and 41% as Independent.
11:37:45 From Kurt Krueger to Everyone:
should we sign in for being poll workers?
11:38:15 From kip adams to Everyone:
Here in deep maga rural Lancaster county PA my recent experience as a Democratic committeeperson I have heard many Republicans express giving up on the party of Trump but remain silent to friends and family.
11:39:25 From Brandyn Keating | YOUnify to Host and Panelists:
Kurt: YES, please do sign up to be a co-worker and encourage others to do so as well. That is a great action for people to take.
11:40:17 From Leo Jacoby to Everyone:
11:43:02 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
HS: how to discredit this threat to our Democracy, Constitutional not yet fully formed, no thinking of politics in terms of binary Red/blue, Dems/COnstitutional Republicans?independence, 70% or Republicans believe BIg Lie, so 30% think the same way as Liz Cheney=20,000,000, 60% of Independents think Joe Biden was fairly elected, disapprove of Trump today, TURNOUT>TURNOUT>TURNOUT, 2020=159,000,000 voters, so 50,000,000 believed election was stolen, so 1/3, TRUMP cult still 1/3 put together Democrats 29% of Americans + 60 Independents=24%, Republicans who do not believe Big Lie 6%=TOTAL 60% , 45% of AZ define themselves as independent with swing power, in Alaska 33% defined as independent, (Ranked choice voting finally gave us a chance to have our voice heard) Trump cult vs established Republican Lisa Murkowski, one for Democratic system & another Tshibaka against democracy, Utah Evan McMullin (serious candidate) running against solid Republican Senator Mike Lee, Mitch McConnel is worried about candidates

11:44:20 From John Steiner & Margo King to Everyone:
At 89, Hedrick is remarkable. In fact, he's remarkable at any age! Cheers and a deep bow to Rick, John Steiner
11:47:09 From Kathleen McTeigue to Everyone:
Yes, John. Truly inspiring to hear from Rick, and he's still so sharp! Wow!
11:47:39 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
HS: MM worried none wanted to touch any of these because of quality of candidates (TRUMPISTS who will alienate Republicans) Liz Cheney's dad predicted that TRUMP is greatest threat ever to American Democracy, what matters is what happens in voting booth, Brad Raffensberger in investigation, TRUMP had to go back over the votes many times, 33,000 Republican voters who voted for Republicans other candidates and left President unmarked, Fast forward to Alaska Ranked choice voting 15,000 Republican voters voted for Democrat MAry Peltola WHo is a TRuMPER/former AK governor not liked here due to her quitting, Nick Begich only conservative from Begich political clan here, so Democrat won over the TRUMP Republican, we are becoming freed up here with ranked choice voting, watch what happens with Lisa Murkowski & Tshibaka for US Senate
11:48:16 From Jane Norton to Everyone:
Thank you Rick for these statistics- very hopeful!
11:48:23 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
Yes, thank you for suggestions. I will share this once its posted…. appreciate this level of detail in the discussion. I'm from Ohio and live in SC.
11:51:02 From Kat Haber to Everyone:

11:51:11 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:
Does it REALLY make sense to send money to the campaigns we would like to support? Wining elections depends on voters, not necearily donors… Itsn't that right?
11:51:34 From Georg Boch to Everyone:
Clips cannot go to chat as they are not online.
11:52:16 From Marilyn Schramm to Everyone:
Stan, money helps final push for GOTV efforts
11:53:28 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:
If people can't send money… can they use email or social media to support the candidates they like…
11:54:53 From maureenedwardson3@gmail.com to Everyone:
I need to go to another appointment but first another important announcement!! JIM GARRISON was also given a Hunitarian Award at the Visioneers Event yesterday at UBC!!! Congratulations JIM!!!
11:55:23 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
BK: large number of independents feel parties not talking to/for/with them, dehumanization be careful to not fall in this trap that MAGA’s are folks we can not engage in a positive way, be careful to be behavioral science smart, start with facts/position leads to NOT BEING HEARD/judged as wrong or stupid-backlash affect SO COMMON GROUND FIRST maximize start with inquiry, what is important to them , shared values surfaced, step by step from water coolker at work to supermarket to organized phone banking, connect values to opportunity, is a way to make a difference that is consequential numbers show not a food fight death match out of control, =cocreate a democrary that values/expresses their wants/needs, 1. Inquire. 2,connect values to candidates 3.concrete specific option 4. ongoing action that leads to results
11:55:37 From Rita Marsh to Everyone:
YES! Congratulations, Jim.
11:55:51 From Jim Garrison to Everyone:
Wow, had no idea. Thank you to whoever awarded it🙂
11:55:54 From Marilyn Schramm to Everyone:
Latinos who moved to US to escape from authoritarian govts need to understand what is at stake & what is happening in US.
11:56:37 From maureenedwardson3@gmail.com to Everyone:
JIm I will send you the link to the livestreamed event from the physical event I attended. So proud to know you and George!!!
11:56:41 From Brandyn Keating | YOUnify to Host and Panelists:
There is also an enormous of soft support for anti—democracy candidates — people looking for belonging and agency.
11:56:51 From Rita Marsh to Everyone:
@Marilyn, important point.
11:57:00 From Jim Garrison to Everyone:
Thank you.
11:58:45 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
HS: not locked into binary red/blue fight, options, be informed & informing, still many are undecided, so many undecided, 14% one month out not yet decided about what's at stake and how to be effective, practical things we each can do. I am advocating for Mandela Barnes in my home state of Wisconsin and I vote in Alaska. let's Xpand our connections/reach/impact, JS Struggle within red/blue and withineach parties as well
11:59:46 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
@Marilyn, just as individuals repeat patterns of abuse in their singular lives, is it possible that Latinos escaping authoritarianism are also repeating that pattern?
12:00:10 From Tina Michel to Everyone:
I'm not sure about the definition of "anti-authoritarian" wing(?) Is it a positive to be "for authoritarianism"?
12:00:16 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
@MArilyn as cultural response to collective trauma fleeing their own countries?
12:00:23 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
This is extremely important!! Thank you for being here live with us!
12:00:32 From Kathleen McTeigue to Everyone:
Thank you, Brandyn, for spelling out specific steps people can take to engage others who have a different perspective from our own.
12:00:54 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
Yes, thank you, Brandyn!
12:01:57 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:
Everyone should congratulate Georg when things go astray - for all the times that he has this show under smooth control.
12:03:21 From Aida Merriweather to Everyone:
I am in awe and gratitude for Georg , for his work here, and for his patience in helping me negotiate the various Ubiquity platforms. True acts of love in my view
12:03:25 From Rita Marsh to Everyone:
Can panelists speak to the importance of the roll secretaries of state play in elections - especially what is on horizon for November vote.
12:04:31 From George Cappannelli to Everyone:
Rita, That's our topic tomorrow. Hope you tune in
12:05:52 From Rita Marsh to Everyone:
@George...thank you! I'll be present.
12:06:41 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:
Do the Democrats owe a measure of gratitude to the Supreme Court for overturning Roe… at this critical time?
12:07:14 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
HS: arizon full Trump slate, Gov, sec of state, attorney General> divide in AZ republican party wide as Grand Canyon, party open declaration continuing battle with $3,000,000 audit that Biden won Arizona, with an open fight, two slates with TRUMP slate winning, 40% or less of Republican vote with 45% independent, must heal party, Republicans know how to return home to their party to win, MArk KElly (Gabby Giffords husband) weak TRUMPIST Candidate is a huge benefit 8% lead, than with more centristm candidateJD Vance Hillbilly Elegy book anti at one time and now pro TRump, Hershel Walker against Rev Warnock <40% of Republican vote state after state will be difficult for Republicans to come home, deep red states, Trump were unopposed incumbents, go thru critical states PA, MI Gretchen Withmer, John Fetterman again Mehmet Oz in PA, so MM's worry is real, tight races in swing races, those who refused to check the battle MUST SHOW UP AND VOTE!!! to make a difference. What might we do to engcourage voting!
12:07:41 From John Steiner & Margo King to Everyone:
Friends, for something else you can do -- visit ::http://thebigsend.org/swingleft::
12:10:12 From Louise Beekman to Everyone:
Thank you, John, the group you mentioned writes this Sending a Vote Forward letter to potential voters in key states is one of the easiest things you can do to increase election turnout. It only takes a couple of minutes and a stamp to meaningfully increase the odds that a fellow citizen will vote.
12:10:23 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
HS: slivers of electorate who do not want to say who they will vote for, people who do not say how they will vote are the Liz Cheney Republicans, worried about our democracy, reasonable chance the constitutional coalition will win, some will slip through, provided no unXpected November surprise (What might that be everyone?) Republicans will be called to return to traditional politics (Though he was the architect of the politics of NO that won three SUpreme COurt seats)
12:11:20 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
We can also send the youtube of this after it is posted by HR. I've done that before and suggest it!
12:12:04 From Marilyn Schramm to Everyone:
agree. in 2016, many were too embarrassed to admit publicly that they would vote for Trump. Perhaps this year, many Repubs may not be willing to state publicly that they will NOT vote for MAGA candidates. They may decide not to cast a vote in that particular race.
12:14:17 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
HS: 2022 does not resolve the issues, 2024 fair election depends on who wins in 2022, idependent legislature doctrine, > Supreme Court of states have no power to rule on constitutionality on gerrymandering gives supreme power to legislatures, to overturn popular vote!dark cloud hanging over us, specificall modernize 1887 Election Vote COunt Act, TRUMPS attorneys told Pence to thro=w out the vote and decide on your own, VP has only to open the figures & Count the #’s 2 Vote must be counted by rules before election, 3, Governor of the state certifies vote in each state, 4. must have 25% of state call for debate passed in housem not voted on in Senate until after November election

12:15:24 From Rita Marsh to Everyone:
@Rick and all... how can this information be shared at the Independents National Convention being held in Austin TX Oct 29, 30.
12:17:13 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:
Rita, I’ve been wishing that the Democrats would run a national conference over ZOOM to bring attention to candidates in each district.
12:18:10 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
JG: control of state legislatures key, US started democracy was viewed for white males + 25 years old, who owned property selection of presidents done by asmall group, old voting act legislation written in old days within a limited franchise, Roe V Wade, did not outlaw but said let the states decide in abstract logic, so complicated history and cosntitutional proclivity, all power returns to the way it used to be (Past traditional focus of originalist MAGA/Supreme Court Justices & AK will vote on constitutional rewrite in November)
12:19:34 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
HS: American electorate wants to have direct election for president, now this is about regaining POWER-DO NOT CONCEDE EVER! Change the rules to make sure our team wins, even in 18th century not the intention, one side prevailing in state elections
12:21:23 From Charles Betterton to Everyone:
VOTE for Humanity! Call, Write, Ask everyone you know to Vote and help protect Democracy! Thank you George!
12:21:28 From Rita Marsh to Everyone:
@George...Thank you.
12:21:30 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
GC: this not being binary, not politics as usual, each vote we and our friends make is a vote for humanity, if democracy loses, we all lose, VOTE, please VOTE, donate, please VOTE/DONATE/ADVOCATE, will this world move toward a more perfect union survive? IT IS UP TO US, for HUMANITY RISING!]
12:22:39 From Aida Merriweather to Everyone:
What's the best way to share this session with those not registered for Humanity Rising. Is there access to the YouTube presentation for anyone?
12:23:25 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:
When are we going to talk about the people who are using the media to inject the population with the anti-democratic virus? These people are attempting to gain control over how the government spends money on the goods and services they provide. The weapon makers and the petroleum industries come to mind…

THANK YOU
12:27:03 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
BK: growing pains, Xpansion of congnitive dissonance, how we started and how we see ourselves increasing access to democracy, importance of power, what this means for structural protections for all voters to count, all organizing is about self interest, soft support coems at higher elected official levels maintaining power at grass roots more about a system that works/belonging/agency DO NOT CONFLATE THESE TWO LEVELS OF PARTICIPATION grassroots key to realig=n interests of those in power, as accountability decreases with voters not represented by whole, VOTER SUPPRESSION changes structure to maintain their power, On Humanity Rising we are already activists, responsive to emergency thinking, with occasional voters, we can, must ignite them to show up & vote & do something to motivate rather than depress sporadic voters, values/positive things to engage is to walk through a vote plan, 5 W's and let them know lots of people are voting, Everybody is doing it, its easy, bandwagon effect with infrequent voters,
12:27:24 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
Love these ideas, Brandyn, very important and empowering for how we share the message.
12:28:03 From Charles Betterton to Everyone:
@Brandyn, Thanks for your great advice about how to encourage others to become engaged. Perhaps couching our invitation to them to participate in a Constitutional Coalition and help make a difference MIGHT be helpful.
12:28:57 From Brandyn Keating | YOUnify to Host and Panelists:
Yes, exactly @Charles!
12:28:58 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
BK: Help folks understand candidates further down the ballot, ancilary state & local candidates are ciritcal Judges, DA's Sheriffs start here lead to COngress, many do not vote because they do not know enough about candidates, share websites, voter report card related to issues they care about, municipal turnouts is low, we perform how we practice, show up at every election no matter how mundane,
