“Democracy is not a state. It is an act, and each generation must do its part to help build what we called the Beloved Community, a nation and world society at peace with itself.” - John Lewis

Over the last 9 months, The Democracy Dialogues has brought together leading voices of our time – authors, experts, activists, office holders and candidates to speak clearly, passionately and with truth about the seriousness of the threat facing our Democracy and, as a result, the well-being of humanity, the other species who reside here and our precious habitat itself.

The Humanity Rising series, produced by George Cappannelli, co-produced by John Steiner and Margo King with invaluable support from Jim Garrison and Tom Eddington and the HR team, has been created not just to provide viewers all across the country and around the world with a deeper and more accurate understanding of the consequences of the current threat to Democracy, but to also introduce, honor and celebrate the efforts a number of courageous and talented individuals and organizations that are doing remarkable work to save our Democracy.

Of particular importance, the Democracy Dialogues have been created to remind us as citizens, both here in the US and elsewhere around the world, of the vital and essential role each of us have both the opportunity and responsibility to play essential roles to protect and defend the rights and privileges we hold dear for a way of life that promotes freedom and individual empowerment from those who are out to destroy it.

October 10-14 will bring us the last 5 – 90 minute programs prior to the midterms.  They will air daily on HumanityRising.Solutions at 8:00 AM PT to 9:30 AM PT. So please join us and invite your loved one, friends and colleagues to do the same.

We are not exaggerating in the least when we say that the fate of Representative Democracy and our ability to constructively impact any and all of the systemic challenges of our time - climate, voting rights, women’s rights, healthcare, income inequality, food security, immigration, poverty etc. - are indeed, all on the line.

You can participate in the live Zoom program and share your questions and comments with all of the featured guest as well as with other participants in the live chat. Go to HumanityRising.Solutions to register.
