   My Ancestors originated from North American and northeastern Europe. As I learn ceremony to honor them I’ve realized a key truth. Before kings, centralized power before all forms of colonization… we all lived within Mother Earths womb. We lived out of Gratitude as one.    I learned from the indigenous elders that everything has a purpose, so Catherine’s idea for moving on and accepting the divine purpose from an unconditionally loving Universe is important, moving beyond duality (right/wrong, good/evil, victim/perpetrator) to that field Rumi speaks about:    

   “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,

   there is a field. I’ll meet you there.   

   “When the soul lies down in that grass,

   the world is too full to talk about.

   Ideas, language, even the phrase ‘each other’

   doesn’t make any sense.”

Diversity of language = diversity of culture = diversity of perspectives = diversity of knowledge = diversity of wisdom = diversity of understanding = diversity of healing.  Languages are disappearing, reflecting the 6th mass extinction of bio-diversity occurring right now. We must protect what diversity of language We have now. It's critical.

   I found that I had a horrific experience with someone who I know would not apologize, I sought to forgive and when I found resentment there instead, blocking my ability to forgive I discovered that compassion was the pathway to forgiveness. As already mentioned, the perpetrator is not a well person... having compassion for that person's mental/spiritual imbalance shifts one's perspective mightily...  once I walked deeply into compassion for that person's serious lack of well-being, I was able to forgive...…… a thousand weights lifted from my being.
