Taking the ripple from the Chartres illuminations, we illuminated a local church in my neighborhood last summer, near where George Floyd was murdered, as the culmination of an evening peace walk with lanterns.  (I’ll try import a photo)

Fascinating history of Chartres.  I have visited Chartres during circathe summer solstice and the gospel songs were performed while I was there.  A stunning place I never forget just like the Taj Mahal.

By synchronicity (?) in the Catholic calendar, TODAY is the solemn feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Many cultures, religions, and movements use "Heart" as an essential symbol. "Heart coherence" is oft used in the Humanity Rising lexicon and centering practice.

As described by a local pastor in this morning's Facebook greeting, "The devotion to the Sacred Heart recalls Christ's love for us and we take Jesus Christ's physical heart as the representation of his divine love for humanity" -- echoing what Pope Leo XIII wrote in 1899, "There is in the Sacred Heart the symbol and express image of the infinite love of Jesus Christ which moves us to love in return."
