Throughout the World, there is a shared misperception that peace is an elusive concept. This false narrative, perpetuated by mainstream media, world events that don’t reflect the totality of life on earth, and political spin, has the vast majority of human beings not believing that peace is possible. There is limited recognition that the vast majority of humans are living a peaceful existence. Part of the problem is a misunderstanding of peace. For many, peace is an impossible state; often referred to as “sweet peace”.
Achieving world peace is as simple as changing the narrative which can be done in a nanosecond. Speed Shifting to this new story in each of the eight elements of peaceful societies is possible.

Bios
Marilyn King
Marilyn King is a two-time Olympic Pentathlete, Exceptional Human Performance expert, Peace enthusiast, Founder of Way Beyond Sports and the Peace Team, a global systemic change initiative. Following a serious car accident in 1979 Marilyn was unable to train for the 1980 Olympic Games so she used visualization and mental rehearsal to prepare herself for competition through the extraordinary power of her mind. She finished second in the Olympic trials for her third Olympic Team without physical training. This experience and knowledge set her on a 35 year career as an expert in exceptional human performance where she has taught Olympian Thinking from the classroom to the Board Room.
Marilyn has used this experience, combined with participation in an international Think Tank on the role of business in peace building, to do her most pioneering work using the prestige of Olympians around the world and her experience to Found the Olympian Peace Team and to collaborate with the United Nations to promote peace in the world.
Tom Eddington
Tom Eddington is an author, Executive Coach, Business Advisor, and Executive Producer of documentary films. As a scholar of Conscious Leadership, he is passionate about bringing more conscious leadership into the world which he does through his coaching and advisory work, film and media projects and Board positions. As CEO of Endangered.global he brings his commitment and experience to impacting climate change and biodiversity loss. He holds an M.S. in Organization Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.
