Dr. Richard Grossman
Dr. Richard Grossman, L.Ac., O.M.D., Ph.D., embodies a lifetime dedicated to holistic healing and spiritual exploration. Growing up surrounded by the medical profession due to his father's occupation as a pharmacist, Grossman developed a deep curiosity about the healing properties of plants from an early age. His academic journey began with a fervent desire to understand the effects of plants and medicines on the mind, which ultimately led him to pursue a multifaceted career in healing arts.
Inspired by a traumatic event in his youth, Grossman embarked on a spiritual quest that took him to the banks of the Ganges in India, where he delved into meditation and the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. This profound experience solidified his conviction that true healing encompasses a spiritual dimension.
Grossman's educational pursuits encompass a diverse array of disciplines, including Asian philosophy, Tai Qi, massage, yoga, and herbal medicine. In 1979, he enrolled in the Oriental Medicine program at the California Acupuncture College, marking the beginning of his formal training in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. His dedication to advancing his knowledge led him to post-graduate acupuncture training in Beijing, sponsored by the World Health Organization.
Throughout his career, Grossman has integrated traditional healing modalities with contemporary approaches, including the use of sound healing and entheogens. He gained international recognition for his expertise in ceremonial healing, blending Amazonian shamanism with energetic healing practices and sound therapy techniques from diverse cultural traditions.
As a respected speaker and practitioner, Dr. Richard Grossman continues to inspire others with his profound insights into holistic health and spiritual well-being, embodying a lifelong commitment to alleviating suffering and promoting healing on all levels of being.
Pauline Drossart
Pauline Drossart is a mystic, mother, and artist whose journey into consciousness began with profound loss of her Matriarchal lineage, leading her to a path of transformation and empowerment. Overcoming addiction, she relocated from London to Los Angeles, where she discovered Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, diving deep into ancient wisdom teachings on her journey to sobriety.
In reverence to her lineage, Pauline founded Shakti School, a school empowering women through Kundalini Yoga in circle-style gatherings, nurturing leadership in women's circles as well as young girls.
Drawing inspiration from her studies with yogis, master teachers, and the Chumash tribe, Pauline's spiritual quest extends beyond yoga. As a musician, alongside her husband, Akah, she forms Aykanna, a duo celebrated by "Billboard Magazine" for their soul-stirring music spanning two decades. The band has recorded 9 albums of healing songs and mantra music that serve as a tool for evolution.
Pauline shares her soulful melodies and teachings at retreats, concerts, and festivals, spreading wisdom and healing through the art of daily practice: Sadhana. Her home is in Costa Rica with her family, including her 11 year old daughter Sahej-Rose.
Akahdamah Jackson’s versatile work displays a true synthesis of his knowledge, his gifts, and his wisdom. His committed path to self-discovery has led him into the divine work of a spiritual counselor, in which he utilizes ancient practices to create purpose-driven lives for his clients. He is also a certified Kundalini yoga teacher, an Ordained Healing Minister, a 5th generation plant and spirit medicine man, a percussionist, and a conscious father. He and his wife form the high-vibrational musical duo Aykanna, and they travel worldwide with their incredible 6-year old daughter, Sahej. When they’re not on the road, Akahdamah and his family live in beautiful Ojai, California - known to the natives as the “Valley of the Moon.”
