Join us on a journey of creative mobilization for positive change in our communities and beyond. Discover effective strategies and tactics for activism and leadership, and be inspired by stories of successful change initiatives. Let's explore the potential for ongoing progress and impact, by Nature-guided and feminine inspired leadership and collaborative creativity. Together, we'll examine the crucial role of individuals, organizations, and communities in driving meaningful and lasting transformation.

“Creativity Rising” is a Five-Day Symposium celebrating the fourth anniversary of Climate Change & Consciousness. Held April 17- 21 co-facilitated by Stephanie Mines and Kathleen Brigidina recognizing a momentous creative shift in our collective consciousness. Gathering a multidisciplinary panel of visionary creatives, biologists, indigenous wisdom keepers, land guardians, scientists, and community builders who are joining forces to ignite a surge of innovative solutions to address the environmental challenges and devastating social impacts of climate change, pollution, deforestation, and loss of biodiversity.

Symposium Co-Facilitators:

  • Dr. Stephanie Mines is a poet and the author of five books that reflect over three decades of research as a neuroscientist. She has investigated shock and trauma as a survivor, a professional, a clinical researcher, and healthcare provider. Her nonprofit The TARA Approach is instrumental in the systemic change she promotes as a Regenerative Health paradigm. Dr. Mines developed Climate Change & Consciousness (CCC) to facilitate inner transformation for grounded climate action.
  • Kathleen Brigidina’s spiritual reverence for Nature, our collective creative energy, and the mythical love longing to be expressed through our feminine voice, has inspired her lifelong calling. Guiding her for three decades as a sacred Earth artist, illustrator, poet/writer, interview host, workshop facilitator, creative visualization guide/doula/coach, energy healer, conscious evolutionary, and water ceremonialist. Presenters:

  • Pat McCabe, Woman Stands Shining, is of the Diné Nation (often known incorrectly as "Navajo), and was also adopted into the Lakota Spiritual way of Life. She is a mother, grandmother, activist, artist, and international speaker. She identifies as a "radical bridger" of worlds and paradigms, with a focus on sharing from her own deep inquiry into Thriving Life Paradigm: "How do I become that being, that human, whose presence and way of being supports and causes all other life to Thrive?" She calls upon her lived experience from her indigenous cultures to make hypotheses and proposals to a "Modern World Paradigm" as all of humanity is faced with its current crisis of relationship, with ourselves, with each other, and with the Earth.
  • Banafsheh Sayyad is a Persian master sacred dancer, choreographer, teacher, activist, and founder of Dance of Oneness®. She performs and teaches her award-winning work internationally, initiating people into the wisdom of their bodies. Her signature style of holy wildness infused with ancient wisdom activates transformation and illumination. Banafsheh Sayyad is one of the few bearers of authentic Persian dance in the world, and a pioneer in creating a liberated feminine expression in the Sufi dance genre previously performed only by men. Her modality, Dance of Oneness® is dance as a spiritual path and science of embodiment. It is a fusion of 3 dimensions: the art of dance: rigorous technique and self-expression; healing; and wisdom teachings. With an MFA in Dance and Choreography and a Masters in Chinese Medicine, Banafsheh Sayyad is dedicated to individual and collective healing through sacred dance and conscious movement. Visit www.danceofoneness.org for more information on her online and in person offerings.

Creative Nature Visualization:

  • Kathleen Brigidina, eco-artist, creative Nature doula/coach/facilitator, and community gatherer. Kathleen’s deeply passionate connection to Nature, creativity, and the liberation of the feminine voice, has influenced her life’s work for the last three decades. Guiding her to become a creative nature healing practitioner/doula/coach, facilitator, poet/writer, water ceremonialist, sacred Earth artist/designer, speaker, inspiring interview host, book illustrator, meditation/visualization guide and evolutionary community gatherer. Kathleen believes creative expression is more than a special gift for a select few, it's linked to our DNA, connected to Nature’s creation energy, and available to everyone one of us for individual growth and healing as well as our collective transformation for the good of the whole. Kathleen studied at The Chicago Art Institute, going on to teach various art forms, design, as well as coordinating many in person eco events for the community. Including coordinating a sustainability curriculum for six community colleges, and teaching painting at a local county jail. She is grateful to have worked with some of the most amazing teachers and mentors, including Barbara Marx Hubbard - founder of The Conscious Evolution, Katia Peterson - director of education  for The Institute of Noetic Sciences, Dan Creeley - founder of Northeastern College’s Global Indigenous Peace Fire and Clare Dubois - Founder of TreeSisters NP Organization. http://www.Brigidina.com
