Chat from AfterChat Zoom from HR Day 681:
aka ChatPeople Chat
...
00:06:19 Jamen Shively: I’m going to bring some folks over from the Block Party for a “field trip to the After Chat”
00:06:38 Jamen Shively: Let me go fetch my peeps . . . I’ll be back!
00:06:53 Stanley Pokras: This is the AfterChat for Day 681
00:11:50 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: Men also have a change in life in later years. 🙂
00:14:11 Katie Augustine: Replying to "Men also have a chan..."
Yes thank you, Kurt!
00:16:02 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: “Your Mike is OFF” rather than “You’re on Mute.” OR Please turn your “Mike” off.
Honors the deaf and the TRUTH.
00:16:43 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: Don’t blame all of Islam with the insanity happening in Iran
00:21:48 Shannon McArthur: Stan, I’d like to hear our guests who want to speak before you speak again — is that ok?
00:23:12 Patricia Aguirre: I will have to go...women festival for earth day in the village and lots of calling and noise. Thanks immensely for this week. Together. Inspired!!!❤️
00:24:03 Katie Augustine: Is there a link to Kathleen’s workshop for tomorrow? Thank you !
00:24:05 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: A vaccine that anyone can take to cure humans inhumanity to others ~
To be fully effective, this gets to be done periodically through the day, until well practiced to work. Here’s a 15 minute video describing PeaceMaker Meditation. ::https://youtu.be/vv1VxDv80wo:: Peace IN Everything, Everything WITH Peace. will reverberate throughout your day… making it the focus and bringing more peace to you and ‘others.’
A few scientifically proven benefits that meditation also gives: stress/trauma reduction, improved performance in sports and elsewhere, increased mental and physical health.
When I was teaching at Stockholm University in 1984, I gave a special program for the Swedish Prison Wardens and Priests on Using Meditation for Rehabilitation ~ It Changes People Inside so When They Go Outside, They’re Different. ˆThey’re recidivism rate is about 20%, ours 80%.
00:24:55 Kala Perkins: 💖
00:25:03 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: Wo/Man Beings. 🙂
00:25:09 Leo Jacoby: I (we) am human becoming.
00:26:04 Katie Augustine: Please a link to tomorrow’s session by Kathleen, thank you!
00:26:10 Kathleen Brigidina: You can join me tomorrow Earth Day at 8 am Pacific to share what has aroused in your heart this week and to learn more about a “Creativity Rising Community” I am rebirthing. You can join me here and then you will receive more details and the zoo link: ::https://mailchi.mp/7ae8bed7e1f3/creativity-rising-earth-day-series::
00:26:18 Katie Augustine: Thank you!!
00:27:50 Jeannie L.: Thank you so much for this transformative work being done here!!
00:29:50 Susanne Kasack: we-are-one@bluewin.ch susanne kasack
00:30:31 Shannon McArthur: Thank you so much, Susanne!! LOVE to have you with us!
00:31:52 Katie Augustine: Agree agree - there are often local laws and ordinances in the states, often 8pm to 8am or 7am; however you have to call local authorities if someone is not following them.
00:32:27 Banafsheh Sayyad: Totally agree with you Carol Sue. We really need to do something about noise pollution.
00:32:27 Shannon McArthur: Ladies and Gentlemen, please put up your hand to have personal conversation with our wonderful panelists.
00:35:41 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: Light pollution
00:35:51 Katie Augustine: It’s all interpretted
00:36:02 Sara Malik Bloomington, In,USA: The Us/ THEM is the dying paradigm.
00:36:18 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: All the world scriptures were written by men during the Kali Yuga ~ described in India as the darkest and most troublesome times of the Four Great Yugas ~ each thousands of years long. According to tradition, the next Yuga is Satya, the most peaceful, pure time of the Yugas. Where Peace IN Everything, Everything WITH Peace permeates life on Gaia.
What is your rendition of a scripture that would be adhered to bring us into the coming Satya Yuga? Would there be more than one? This is something that will allow us to “be the architects of the future, not its victims,” as Buckminster Fuller wrote. What say you?
In Service…
00:37:35 Shannon McArthur: Thank you so much, Stephanie. Banafsheh, thank you. This is the question that needs to be considered.
00:37:38 Claude Buettner: Sounds like Islamicphobia. I lived in Damascus, Syria as a Christian as a boy and this does not agree with my understanding of Islam and how it is practiced in many ways, as is Christianity. My book suggestion is Is Religion Killing Us?
00:37:40 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: All Lifted Hearts : The Golden Rule expressed in song through the world's spiritual traditions. ::https://youtu.be/Tfx2a7fNd-0::
“If everyone followed the Golden Rule there would be no prisons and no more crime. We wouldn't have to lock our doors at night. There would be no divorces, no orphanages, no violence and no wars ... there would be great happiness in the land,” ~ John Cantoir
There is no better way to learn than from a role model. “We are ghosts or we are ancestors in our children’s lives,” Bruce Springsteen said at the beginning of his broadway show, ’Long Time Comin’
00:40:02 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: ZOOM PEACE with The Peace Salute, ::https://youtu.be/iAknrhuvPr0:: whenever you say goodbye.
00:40:12 Stephanie Mines: Mnenosyne
00:41:43 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: 🙁
00:43:25 Carol Sue Engleman on Facebook Sarah Sue-Belize: Thank you Banafsheh. I was strictly talking about religion not individuals. Religion has been used to control people and doesn't reflect on the the good and bad of individuals so I'm sorry I offended you Stephanie.
00:44:14 Stephanie Mines: Thank you Kathleen.
00:45:45 Katie Augustine: Was that Andrew I heard?
00:46:24 Banafsheh Sayyad: Yes it was Andrew Harvey’s voice
00:47:06 Kala Perkins: 🔥🌈💥💖💕
00:48:10 Shannon McArthur: I’m so sorry, Sara, that your mic will not cooperate!
00:48:38 Leo Jacoby: Recommended by Cluade: ::https://archive.org/details/isreligionkillin00nels:: (borrow online: Is religion killing us? : violence in the Bible and the Quran by Nelson-Pallmeyer, Jack 2003)
- https://www.ourworld.co/understanding-religion/:: ("It is commonly accepted that the word “religion” originates from the Latin word “religio”, and the verbs “ligare” and “religare”, which mean respectively “bind” and “connect”. According to this first etymology endorsed by authors such as Lactance and Tertullian, religion designates the way human being connects and enters a relationship with the divine. This has become a commonly accepted opinion.")
00:48:48 Shannon McArthur: When you speak, I hear bells, Cate!!
00:48:57 Leo Jacoby: Claude
00:50:09 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: Thank You God for this love fest. 🙂
00:51:15 Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network: Coming out of the lockdown… We get to PLAY TOGETHER. Let’s share an annual WORLD FEST!
IMAGINE!
Music, Art, Food, and Play attract ALL people to come together. How may we have peace and plenty for all? Here is a practical and fun way to start solving these issues… while enjoying COMMUNITY.
The up coming annual World Fest is designed to create enjoyable times allowing one to focus on the “Light” forces around our world, to mingle with different peoples, to allow sociological barriers to dissipate, and to learn dynamic ways for peace and thriving for ourselves and our planet, all the while bringing copious amounts of money to quality charities each year.
Live streaming allows for the world to participate as best they can and to be inspired! Major and minor cities around the world would participate on the same September Equinox weekend.
Check out the entire vision: www.theWorldFestOrganization.org
Connect with me if you feel inspired with the vision. We can make the Vision come ALIVE!
00:52:39 Shannon McArthur: Thank you so much, Susanne, for clearing the vibrations! Blessings us all…
00:54:42 Leo Jacoby: More by Georges-Elia Sarfati (::https://www.ourworld.co/understanding-religion/::):
"Another rarer etymology derives the term “religion” from the Latin “legere” and “relegere”, which means respectively to gather and to examine / to meditate. This explanation, endorsed by Cicero, refers to the fact of gathering one’s thoughts / to examine.
"The two etymologies provide very different insights on religion and its practice. While the first denotes a relationship instigated by the individual, the second denotes a relationship to intelligence in itself. These two etymologies shed light on two different conceptions of religious life. In the first case (religion / religare- to connect with the divine) is a form of communication, in the second case (religion / relegare- to collect, to examine) refers to a spiritual attitude that precedes any membership. This semantic difference modifies our understanding of religion."

'It appears that there is irreversible, unstoppable climate change occurring, which will result in loss of habitats at first, and eventually the loss of complex life on earth. This event will be comparable to a mass extinction that occurred 250 million years ago, the Permian-Triassic, which resulted in the loss of 90 percent of species.'”)
01:29:20 Gerald Nasasira: Thanks brother

01:30:02 Jamen Shively: Join us ANY time, come and go as you please, etc. . . .
01:30:19 Susanne Kasack: well done Jamen
01:32:30 Leo Jacoby: The drive to build ever bigger and better data bases and archives is one approach to being "comprehensive." Zeroing in on two particular and unique human perspectives (mine and yours as we dialogue) is another approach to "comprehend" the whole.
01:36:01 Sara Malik Bloomington, In,USA: Must go
See you tomorrow

01:38:03 Gerald Nasasira: absolutely
01:40:32 Beatriz Schriber: Deeply attentively listening, yes!
01:41:18 Leo Jacoby: My best antidote to speaking in "me/us vs. them" terms is listening to the other. That other is you, here and now. Me and you participating in the dance, rather than controlling or building the dance as if from the outside.
01:42:45 Jamen Shively: Interesting Leo . . .
01:44:27 Beatriz Schriber: Got to go dear friends :( Blessings to all!

01:54:50 Leo Jacoby: Stan, have you ever written to an elected representative, not necessarily during a campaign season? Perhaps received a boiler plate response which you listen to deeply to shape your next point of conversation? To Jamen's point how do voters connect with each other to critique and improve a leader's rhetoric and invite more conversation.
01:56:58 Leo Jacoby: I am impressed by Mary's faithful listening.

02:08:33 Leo Jacoby: It's the Stan Pokras Show!
Stan has a need to chat and reminisce. We listen.
Stan is astute enough to know chatter is not conversation.
Thank you Stan, for providing a channel for both chat and conversation. We love you.
