Last month the world was relieved to say goodbye and good riddance to Donald Trump as President of The United States. While this was a huge advance for humanity, it removed one sea of chaos, yet many others remain. Climate chaos, a global pandemic, racial injustice, authoritarianism, and economic inequality are still very much with us. We may have removed Trump from the most powerful office in the world, but we are now faced with chaos that didn’t begin with him and will not be resolved with new policies.
While it is crucial to strengthen our activism around of these issues, we need to have specific tools for navigating the chaos in our individual lives and in our communities. We need to marry our activism with grounded spirituality and robust practices that support awakeness, discernment, and create islands of sanity in an insane world.
