This is reminding me of an experience I had in the summer of 1965 when I was struggling to write a paper on the psychology of perception. This was a time when my ability to read & then reconstruct the
information in a logical comprehensible way. A blue light came in the darkening room & there was a flash of the word perception surrounded by various rays in shades of blue. In 30 minutes I wrote the paper I had been struggling with for 2 months. When I turned it in in September, I received a B+.
I was in awe of this experience, told no one & was subsequently terrified, even though the experience itself was full of peace & wonder. I was convinced I would be hospitalized. It’s taken me years to open to this kind of experience.
As I listen to Mary talk, I can feel this blue benign & loving being. Wow!
