Labyrinths are found around the world and were first created in prehistoric times. A story with a labyrinth is most often remembered from the ancient Greek legend of Theseus and the Minotaur. The Chartres Labyrinth depicted here was designed by the mystics of early 1200's CE for the entrance of the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Chartres, France. It allowed people to feel like they were in the Holy Land and to be prepared to be closer to God in the Cathedral.

In alignment with today’s discussion, in my humble view, I like to talk about how each of us are an “ever-emerging Self” seeking to express & give “form” to what I have come to call Archetypal Energies (Higher Vibrational Energies that we experience as “creative urges” that lead us toward our optimal Selves and optimal realities).
