00:34:48    Kat Haber: Find ourselves in the elements in nature, all accepting, precious opportunity to confront our own minds, autonomy, social ability, search for freedom, ideals, opportunities to Explore in a safe way, apprentice, adolescents, learn trades, teach communication, cooperation, observation, respect of elders,

00:37:08    Kat Haber: Ba: (Failure is fine?) underdose -does not meet kids in natural talents or overdose - get this right, undercurrent of insecurity, challenges at the edge, rites of passage, various elders at various moments, Grow and

00:39:19    Kat Haber: Watch music and judgements, heavy rap speaks to underlying discontentment what’s really going on, oppression voicing, self-hatred

00:40:58    Leo Jacoby: ::https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.2304/ciec.2010.11.2.192:: (Early Attachment Relationships and the Early Childhood Curriculum By ALEJANDRA CORTAZAR and FRANCISCA HERREROS 2010  This article argues that the dominant child-centered early childhood curriculum, based on the principles of Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP), appears to be designed primarily for children with histories of secure attachments, and by not adapting to children’s individual needs it might perpetuate attachment insecurities. This article not only questions pre-conceived images of children in early childhood curriculum but also rethinks the implications of integrating attachment theory into educational practices.)

00:43:46    Leo Jacoby: ::https://centerforparentingeducation.org/library-of-articles/discipline-topics/role-of-parents/:: (balancing nurture and sructure)

00:44:16    Stanley Pokras: Self-reflective Collectivism… this is a term that, when applied to groups working with a common pool resource is exactly what Elinor Ostrom teaches.

00:51:25    Robert Hayes: Not a problem

00:52:55    Kat Haber: Epistemology-a way of knowing, epistomological...

00:54:43    Kat Haber: Expression of belonging ness slowly Expand boundaries until not restricted to place or person, when healthy awakened operating, accepts boundaries if respectfully done, BOUNDARIES not threatening, not cumulative, throughout childhood only do what is necessary, not arbitrary

00:57:07    Stanley Pokras: Can there be a sheet down the middle between groups working with other groups? And each group needs to have autonomy within the assembled groups.

01:00:29    Shannon McArthur: This has been a wonderful session, Ba and Everyone; thank you for sharing this time/space with us. I need to go. Please extend my gratitude to Josette.

01:00:32    Kat Haber: Autonomy & Authority, questions from frontline: nourishments, personal space, drop a sheet down the middle of the room if less resourced, 14 year old shovel clothes not ideal matching, commons, dishes, keep house running, so engage with rest of house in common agreed way, no authority bothering other not her, some set boundaries, if in conflict, cocreated, go slowly agree, in disagreement, here’s my concerns, wonder/worry what is going on, unconscious things at a later hour, bring authentic concern for the moment, hear the other’s concerns, these are my friends you know them you know I am responsible, feels restrictive-teen, elder-mine is safety, teen-suggest texting, Elder-not quite sufficient, back & forth, come to agreement for a trial see how it goes, might have to set strong boundary at times with a hard boundary, since few are made, then those are more likely to be respected and no compromise, if too many boundaries then incites rebellion, in common is self governing,

01:02:09    Stanley Pokras: How does your son-in-law react to your relationship to his children?

01:02:13    Kat Haber: Responsibility & freedom come together, responsiveness, offer celebrations with responsibilities live together, drive safely, what’s going on here, let’s talk about that, bigger meaning hangout in freedom, responsibility to keep it alive, ways to concrete, no freedom without responsibility

01:04:06    Kat Haber: Josette contacted by Tibetan government in Exile in Northern India, had heard of Ba & Josette, consciousness of children, XiTED to do better Tibetan education, family and students had plane/VISAS on March 20, 2020

01:06:31    Kat Haber: 24  3-hour sessions over 2 months>>>results of applying natural learning relationships, now organize trust with students, not just Tibetan Buddhist authority to fall back on, cooperative activities, videos of kids in Tibet doing this, small Xample of peace, African American communities, unhoused communities, keeping family together when no shelter? Diversity

01:09:16    Kat Haber: Self reflective collectivism unsiloes, messing with people’s consciousness, 15 years of field work, NLR: Natural Learning , insecurities keeps solids set in concrete with identity, discovering the suppressor within

01:09:37    Carol Sue Engleman on Facebook: What do you think of Psych-K?

01:10:08    Kat Haber: Stan: categorization, cataloguing, indexing, other networks making it possible for groups/individuals discover each other on their own, network of networks become more useful

01:15:44    Kat Haber: I’d vote for Kate Raworth’s Doughnut Economics for a Nobel Peace Prize. ::https://www.kateraworth.com/doughnut/::

01:23:30    Kat Haber: 4 humours: melancholy, coleric,   Autumn: black bile

  Spring: blood

  Winter: phlegm

  Summer: yellow bile

Capacities are innate, constellations of capacities, relationships that drew them forth, self reflection as natural as breathing, nothing invites us to self reflect, step into the self not a derivative through stories? Gets programmatic needs to be consciousness, program is an outcome that supports consciousness development!

01:23:57    Kat Haber: You were wonderful, thank you so very much!

01:24:24    Robert Hayes: Thanks Ba.  Enjoying the show here today.  Hope to hear more from you later2

01:24:46    Kat Haber: Purpose means keep going!
