Oh help, I am in the NAACP site and promoting masks, vaccines and social distancing to help them and the very design was to kill this portion of society. They had part of it right and missed the most important part. How can I help them understand this grave mistake as they are promoting their own death and don't know it. I had humiliating experiences with my parents as a Black young woman in the 60's and 70's as well...and never understood it...until now...in the perspective of pre-encounter! Pre-encounter: Characterized by individuals (Blacks) who consciously or unconsciously devalue their own Blackness and concurrently value White values and ways. There is a strong desire to assimilate and acculturate into White society.

You never lose anything without losing something more! If your ancestors had not been brought here as slaves you would not have the opportunity to be who you are today. So as I am one who came from Jewish persecution I am grateful to be from the US even though I chose not to live there I am grateful for the possibilities we have that may not have in other countries. I see repair comes with gratitude and appreciation. Could that turn everything around. Where we put our attention is where our intention goes and what we condemn is what we experience! MLK and Fred Hampton, Jr. were both considered greatest danger to American society in the 60's and killed/assassinated for the same reason! Both saw past the mental conditioning/illusion by the Status Quo in maintaining power against the dis-enfranchised of ALL races, ethnicities and sexual orientation...as a means of maintaining CONTROL. Pure and simple!
