They youth has been left out for so many years that they are easily convince to join the terrorist groups. Now over 3000 schools are closed, more than a million people are left their villages and are refugees in the cities . The rural areas are where the farms are so Burkina is confronted in finding ways to incorporated regenerative agriculture.
