My question(s) these 5 days… so how do we get the large industries, cement & development, plastics, ‘fake’ foods and beef, and of course, fossil fuels - how do we transition the ego there? Do those industries have to shift for the change to happen? There are those who care and do/will change their actions, those who care and are either overwhelmed (and are so busy, need the conveniences) and won’t changed unless it’s easy, those who think others will support the change, and those who don’t care. But if we can approach this from the top down, that could trickle into everyones’ actions… Or are we letting go of this concept since it hasn’t worked up until now, and wanting to come in through more of the social change local perspective? Similar to this African solution being mentioned. Is there a way to have a ‘both / and’ here?

I Michigan there is a small stand of uncut forest. I visited there. It was awesome! You can see for great distances as no much grows under pine trees. The ground is soft, it is quite. Truly a temple. THAT is what Columbus found. All they saw were trees. Eurpoeans were not interested in spending their lives tending. We sacrificed care for stuff.
