Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:25 AM)
Maybe the human race (and the planet) needed the fracturisation of nations and life before 2020 so that we could move towards a tipping point of those who are working for a united world. That would be humans who work towards stewarding all of life rather than 'going for growth' and greed.
Religion would be fine as long as they keep it private!!
Arthur Kanegis to Panelists and Attendees (11:27 AM)
see TheWorldIsMyCountry.com - an incredible story that inspires us to see ourselves as Citizens of The World. Martin Sheen and I will be talking about it on the Thom Hartmann Program tomorrow 11 am Pacific time (18:00 PT)

Love the concept of "The World Is My Country". No Nationality-simply we are International Pedestrians.
Leo Jacoby to Panelists and Attendees (11:35 AM)
Pope Francis, Fratelli tutti (a religious voice I am currently reading)
50. The process of building fraternity, be it local or universal, can only be undertaken
by spirits that are free and open to authentic encounters.
LOCAL AND UNIVERSAL
142. It should be kept in mind that “an innate tension exists between globalization and
localization. We need to pay attention to the global so as to avoid narrowness and banality.
Yet we also need to look to the local, which keeps our feet on the ground. Together, the two
prevent us from falling into one of two extremes. In the first, people get caught up in an
abstract, globalized universe… In the other, they turn into a museum of local folklore, a
world apart, doomed to doing the same things over and over, incapable of being challenged
by novelty or appreciating the beauty which God bestows beyond their borders”.[124] We
need to have a global outlook to save ourselves from petty provincialism.
Leo Jacoby to Panelists and Attendees (11:35 AM)
When our house
stops being a home and starts to become an enclosure, a cell, then the global comes to our
rescue, like a “final cause” that draws us towards our fulfilment. At the same time, though,
the local has to be eagerly embraced, for it possesses something that the global does not: it
is capable of being a leaven, of bringing enrichment, of sparking mechanisms of subsidiarity.
Universal fraternity and social friendship are thus two inseparable and equally vital poles in
every society. To separate them would be to disfigure each and to create a dangerous
polarization.
peter to Panelists and Attendees (11:37 AM)
be sure to post contact info for Jean-Christophe and Jim as well.
Maureen Edwardson to Panelists and Attendees (11:37 AM)
Thank you Leo
Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:38 AM)
Brilliant Leo - both points!! Spirits must be free and Local and Universal are both needed - an open mind is essential!!
Me to All panelists and other attendees (11:39 AM)
Jean-Christophe: please use our Wiki to help promote your efforts to build the network of connectors. The site is ::https://othernetworks.org:: and is specifically concerned with helping people work as connectors among various groups. I expect that you are familiar with the idea called "The Strength of Weak Ties" which underlies the principals of connecting otherwise isolated groups. Thank you for your work! Please consider joining us in the AfterChat for conversation after this program ends.

Fear is a critical component of divisiveness. For resources on understanding and dealing with fear check out www.bringtruthtofear.org
Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:43 AM)
Because of the fires here and my new roommate’s connections with Lytton, the town that burned, I have become aware that the Indigenous community has family connections from the far North, south to Mexico and even further. The willingness (and need) to move to where there is work and safety has created a network of blood connections that requires awareness to guide hearts so cousins don’t marry! This network exists already; ‘connectors’ could map this, with the help of Elders.
peter to Panelists and Attendees (11:43 AM)
as we connect for peace, here is something that can connect the connectors and help tie together all the programs. there is a fresh new hand signal that reminds us that we are one humanity, one global heart, sharing one planet. it is called The Unity Sign.

EVERYONE should be a Peace Ambassador. Model how peace looks in your every thought, word and deed! Participate in the Peace Lab, a grassroots group of common people changing the world sometimes one smile at a time. See OtherNetworks.org/Peace_Lab to contribute your expertise, find new ideas, and you may wish to practice the PeaceMaker Meditation, here's a 15 minute video on the easy, psychosomatic, spiritual practice: ::https://youtu.be/vv1VxDv80wo:: Peace In Everything, Everything With Peace. will reverberate throughout your day… making it the focus and bringing more peace to you and ‘others.’
Groups are forming together or through teleconference to bring more Peace to our home planet.
Together we fly more easily ~ like the two wings of a bird… The Peace LAB practices/programs dramatically reduces violence, recidivism, and wars… We get what we focus upon. Let's share our ideas and expertise.

The Social Dilemma shows how the Separation Demon works to divide,
Me to All panelists and other attendees (11:52 AM)
The one theory that I keep thinking about is that the marketing departments of the weapon makers are working hard to create the chaos we are experiencing in the world. As the fracturing grows, so does the sales of weapons.
peter to Panelists and Attendees (11:53 AM)
yes, we have the grand mid-communication, we think we are separate from each other, separate from our planet and separate from what we believe created all this. so we need to go all the way back to remembering that we are one human family.
Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (11:53 AM)
We get to play together more in creating new ways and use old ways that work to promote collaboration, teamwork, trust and fun. The AfterChat is a start for more…
Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:54 AM)
And by building on the We Are All One Family theory, maybe we can attract people to focus on working together to stop making weapons!!
Me to All panelists and other attendees (11:54 AM)
The weapon makers are also the bankers and all of them benefit greatly from people wanting to harm the "other" people.
Perhaps we can come up with a plan to make peace more profitable than conflict?
Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:56 AM)
So, sadly, we need to expose the bad bits. Or...… focus on love (instead of going with fear)
Avon Mattison to Panelists and Attendees (11:57 AM)
Brilliant & very timely for Connectors for Peace!
So important this is under under the auspices of UNESCO. Also, SDG 16- which with SDG 17-suggest are the hub of connecting & implementing the rest of the SDGs
Jane M to Panelists and Attendees (11:57 AM)
Yes Peter...ONE human family,ONE Nationaltiy, ONE planet....'ONE'.
Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:57 AM)
yes, Stan - the only thing the bankers gain is material (cash/wealth etc). I doubt they have Peace of Mind!!
Me to All panelists and other attendees (11:57 AM)
I don't think we can overcome the weapon makers. What is needed is to awaken them to the benefits of a peaceful world.
Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:58 AM)
Exactly - appeal to the better nature of the bankers (and co!!)
Open their minds!!
Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:59 AM)
Not so many in denial these days!! Most of us know it's a mess!! Half the world is on fire!!
Me to All panelists and other attendees (11:59 AM)
One way to get to the people who control so much of the world could be through their wives and daughters. We need all women everywhere to work on their family members who have vast wealth to use their wealth for the good of the people and planet.

Excerpt:
Christian de Quincey in his book Radical Nature — Rediscovering the Soul of Matter.
De Qunicey offers both a new ontological basis, as well as a new epistemology, which complements the relation-focused understanding of participation in the un/en-folding of the whole, which I discussed above.
De Quincey summarizes the implications of his proposed philosophical framework as follows:
“With this new perspective we can now embrace the actuality of consciousness and meaning in a self- organising cosmos. Elements of the new story will include:
(1) complementarity rather than dualism,
(2) organicism rather than mechanism,
(3) holism complementing reductionism,
(4) interconnectedness rather than separateness,
(5) process rather than things,
(6) synchronicity as well as causality,
(7) creativity rather than certainty,
Leo Jacoby to Panelists and Attendees (12:00 PM)
(8) participation and entanglement rather than objectivity.
But most of all, the new cosmology will emphasize
(9) that matter is inherently sentient all the way down, and
(10) that, therefore, nature, the cosmos — matter itself — is inherently and thoroughly meaningful, purposeful, and valuable in and for itself.
Nature, we must see, is sacred.”42 — Christian De Quincey
Bob Van Oosterhout to Panelists and Attendees (12:01 PM)
Making connections is important but we need to look at how to do that in a way that is healthy and productive. Fear is a critical component. It has been used to grab our attention, get our votes,
We receive repeated messages from the news and media that stimulate fear. Since fear gets and keeps our attention, it's a useful tool for the media and entertainment industries. Fear is also a highly effective political tactic. It is easy to manipulate voters when fear keeps us from taking time to understand issues, question assumptions, or look beyond talking points and spin.
Facts cannot penetrate walls build on fear. Attempts to convince people that there may be another way of looking at things only results in making the walls stronger and thicker.
We need to provide tools and information to understand and deal with fear effectively so people can learn to connect with those with different views productively. Wwwbringtruthtofear.org

Wholeness is the ultimate idea we can have of the meaning of being. To be is to be a whole unfolding its inherent potentialities through cycles of changes (time) and in a state of unceasing relatedness to other wholes (space). Wholeness is the being-ness of all wholes. Nothing more can be said of it, except that it is and that it is all-inclusive. -- from Rhythm of Wholeness
Dane Rudhyar (1895-1985) was the premier Philosopher of Wholeness, contributing a stream of evermore inclusive works on the subject from the late-1920s until his passing in 1985. Rudhyar's works on Wholeness encompasses far more than material and biological evolution, and he gave to modern philosophy an unequaled metaphysical perspective.

IMAGINE:
You are thriving in the future. Everyone experiences Peace IN Everything, Everything WITH Peace.
You are the last elder alive who ever experienced anything other than peace, “How did we get to have Peace IN Everything, Everything WITH Peace?”
What is the answer given?
The more the detail, in as many areas of living, provides the path forward from these primitive times.
See OtherNetworks.org/Peace_Lab for possibly adding your collaborative contribution for the future of a thriving life.
