I hold a view of astrology that the position of the planets don't control what happens in the universe. Instead these positions are like our clocks. They point to changes in the flow of the universe. Just as our clocks don't cause day and night and our calendars don't create the seasons, astrology is an indicator of the cycles of the energy that we are imbedded in.
