I stopped my traditional job when my sons were very young.  I started my own accounting business and worked part time making twice the income I earned in a corporation.   I have never looked back.  It can be done

and reduces pollution, less wasted time in cars

Alecia, this virus must have had less impact on you than most, I imagine.

Yes, I wasn't affected that much.  I was living this way for years.

Actually, the pandemic has not been good for domestic health. We need education on how to love each other. Fast!! (How to live well with each other)

that is why I was focusing on the Renaissance from the beginning.   I helped my friends make the transitions

The systems that support people working from home need to be augmented and supported… just like Myrtha  is saying.

It's a circle - if we live more simply - take fewer resources out of the planet; make less; consume less. simple life all the way

Im in Italy and there is a return to the villages that have high speed internet, families can be close, young people don't have to leave their home towns for Rome or London or other big cities abroad for work

I agree with you Shannon. Back here in Africa, the pandemic and resultant lock-downs have pushed us to learn to work from home (online).  I see it a blessing in disguise. I couldn't have learned how to use zoom were it not for this ocassion.

There is not traffic in Rome, its so beautiful to see it like this.   no tourists.   they need to be less reliant on tourism here.  tourism has ruined Italy

A new way of working and building diversity in human capital could be modeled after the game of Monopoly. In that game, all players are given a sum of money to play with. All of human society and all businesses will benefit from each and every new born child receiving an endowment and or a guaranteed income with which to buy products and services from other people and enterprises. The more money thus put into circulation the more peaceful and harmonious will be our human interactions.
