Text of the Zoom Chat from Humanity Rising Day 207

...

Diane Skidmore to Everyone (11:04 AM)

Greetings and Blessings Humanity Risers. Gratitude for Being Alive Here and Now xxx

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:04 AM)

  1. 207 - WOW!  Blessings surround and uplift us all.  Please include Attendees in this chatbox so all can see what you say.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:05 AM)

Day 207!! WOW indeed!!!                              (Women Of the World xxxxx)

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:06 AM)

Ahhho! Blessings Everyone ❤️🙏🌎

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:07 AM)

And we're still lucky enough to use the blessing of the pandemic to MAKE CHANGES (personal if not political). And we can communicate digitally - what a blessing that is!!

Is that a little spaceman at the back? (hahaha)

Ian K to Panelists and Attendees (11:11 AM)

Is a Star Wars Mini Trooper…

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (11:12 AM)

- Ian- I was thinking the same thing. Talk about the beginning of digital media. That was the end of film.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:14 AM)

Love him. Love Star Wars actually! Films still being made tho (and they said the end of vinyl but - look what happened. And books!!….. Gonna pay attention to this tho xxx

And we can communicate world-wide which surely is a good thing!! (Better if we could do it telepathically but...……)

Lars Münter to Panelists and Attendees (11:21 AM)

Yes, yes - my little helper. Have often hoped I could clone myself; and travel the universe.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:25 AM)

Yes indeed. (Some advanced people kinda do that - astral travelling?)

Karen Sadler to Panelists and Attendees (11:27 AM)

Tools are only as good as the person using or creating them. If the people who create them and use them have nefarious or Mal intentions then the tools will reflect that. People who ‘heal themselves’ have learned how to listen to their own inner knowing that is, they learn how to read their own data rather than relying on others outside themselves. Data outside oneself can be manipulated. All data obtained outside oneself must then use the litmus test of ones own inner voice. Without that right, to reject the outside data and go with one’s inside data as a choice then we aren’t free.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:28 AM)

totally agree karen

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:36 AM)

Congratulations, Kieran. A useful, helpful, valuable tool - it needs good data to run it.

Davidson Akhonya to Panelists and Attendees (11:37 AM)

I am in Kenya, and there are fears that the vaccines coming over may not be the same as what is being dispensed in the West. The populace is skeptical and reluctant to take it. Any insights?

Davidson Akhonya to Panelists and Attendees (11:37 AM)

Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli denied that Covid 19 was real. He termed it a myth. Sadly, he died last night from covid 19 related complications.

Karen Sadler to Panelists and Attendees (11:38 AM)

Part of the conversation is not only the comorbidity conditions but why we have the increasing number of comorbidities…Is it because we have manipulated our food sources? With GMO’s and chemical pesticides? Is it because we have not understood our own human microbiome system and ingested ingredients that are not good for us? Is it because we have taken manmade medicines that have upset our natural connection with nature? Is it because humankind has upset the whole balance? Root cause is an important part of any conversation.

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (11:39 AM)

I’m appalled that this VERY common sense understanding is just surfacing. This doesn’t create confidence in the medical industry. Unbelivable.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:39 AM)

"With very little training on nutrition for example (see those last doctors who did gardening in UK surgeries). Why are we managing illness rather than health? I apologise for a disruptive question - will say no more for a while." (Cut this so as not be confrontational but...….)

Kurt Krueger to Panelists and Attendees (11:41 AM)

Karen, please come to the after chat, are you in the Los Angeles area? Sounds like your eclectic and hearty background may help the Peace LAB development. Love to interact with you. Kurt.

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:41 AM)

Diane, it’s  true - and we need BOTH things managed at this point imho… health and illness management.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:41 AM)

And Davidson - many people in the UK are not comfortable with the vaccine let alone people in Africa. However, a National Health Service could possibly work on Immune System strengthening, no?

Focussing on Health!!

Karen Sadler to Panelists and Attendees (11:44 AM)

Indigenous peoples throughout the world have known and continue to practice treating the Whole Person rather than a piece. Western based medicines were founded on the piece over the Whole. Money is made through sickness rather than health. Another important part of the root causes that need to be part of conversations. Training programs for the current Western medical system are based on manmade solutions rather than having an understanding on Whole person Natural connections with Nature, with Food, with Energy.

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:45 AM)

aho,  Karen

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (11:48 AM)

Davidson - maybe setting up a group to ensure quality of your own people????

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:49 AM)

morning, David, good to see you.

Karen Sadler to Panelists and Attendees (11:49 AM)

There are licensed medical practitioners that do act and treat the Whole, who have taken additional instruction in energy and natural solutions  and advocate for solutions that treat the Whole but many are being silenced because they raise questions that manmade solutions may not be the best answer.  Unfortunately, digital solutions take the person to person interaction away. If you have ever held the hand of someone who is ill, you’ll know that digital solutions will not suffice.

Davidson Akhonya to Panelists and Attendees (11:52 AM)

@Kathryn, yes I run an NGO working to bolster the resilience of vulnerable communities. Our interventions cut across disciplines.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:53 AM)

Agree Shannon (community at door so had to step back for a min) but - yes - a holistic way is best. United solutions as well as united people xxx

And Karen - yes. People feel!!

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:56 AM)

Ooooooh - preventative used there (as a word at least!!)

Where we all take some level of responsibility for our health!!

What is a waisted resource, I wonder?

Ahaaa - a wasted resource (you and I)! Could have been a tapered resource

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:00 PM)

Diane -  waste we all know about and, with  Covid, waists aren’t what they once were!

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:00 PM)

hahahaha Brilliant Shannon LOL xxx

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:00 PM)

you’re so funny!!

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:01 PM)

Thank you, Anders, well said.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:01 PM)

You too - still laughing hahaha

Karen Sadler to Panelists and Attendees (12:03 PM)

In today’s world where many so called health providers receive benefits from endorsing different solutions, it is important to identify who is evaluating and to fully disclose what benefits they receive. And that the people, average people, are involved in selecting solutions.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:03 PM)

And that patients are educated!!!

Kurt Krueger to Panelists and Attendees (12:04 PM)

What ACTIVITY could lower the blood pressure? Meditation? Dancing, Eating certain foods and not others? What ALTERNATIVES other than drugs?

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:05 PM)

And many apologies for this before we begin but - 4.9 million records of patients with blood pressure that would change if those people lost weight and had less chemicals in their system.

Claire Ryle Garrison to Panelists and Attendees (12:05 PM)

Hawthorn berry & leaf supports the heart and lowers BP

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:07 PM)

So so sad for doctors - their whole training is about medication or scalpel!! Yes, Kurt, diet, exercise and meditation/mindfulness/relaxation - makes all the difference!!

Back to prevention - thank goodness for that!!!

Karen Sadler to Panelists and Attendees (12:09 PM)

Prevention first. If we spent this past year showing people who to improve their innate and adaptive immune systems we would be preventing the rise of comorbidities. We don’t need more data collection to do this.

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:09 PM)

trust must be earned. haven’t seen any good reason to start to trust the System.

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:09 PM)

Why can’t patients just say - yes or no to sharing their data?

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:10 PM)

In the UK - we can!!

Karen Sadler to Panelists and Attendees (12:10 PM)

There is good research and bad research…again, the research is dependent on the good or bad intention of those doing the research…not necessarily the wholistic person but the business system that calls itself a medical company.

Jane Norton to Panelists and Attendees (12:11 PM)

@Karen, yes there are protocols that have prevented COVID or reduced effects that need to be promoted. And collecting the dats on how many have been helped would be useful.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:11 PM)

Even so - when we are all educated and encouraged towards prevention rather than cure...…….. the world will be a better place!!

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:11 PM)

g’day Nicolaj

Daniel Rieders to Panelists and Attendees (12:11 PM)

I am a medical doctor.  In gratitude.  biases that are systemically inside your designs are missing the big picture. UNFORTUNATELY the biases.

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:11 PM)

yay! Zoom

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:12 PM)

And also sadly, the word 'business' included indicates that profit comes before people-friendly

Dipak Kalra to Panelists and Attendees (12:13 PM)

I agree that we must be discerning about the research we support - many surveys show that the public are in favour of data use ONLY if it targets health benefits.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:13 PM)

Brilliant Daniel. The bigger picture - that's why we were granted the pandemic - so we could look at the bigger picture.

AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Panelists and Attendees (12:13 PM)

I’m really looking forward to this topic of digital groups as we try to provide support for folks around the Trial on the murder of George Floyd.  Lots of triggering.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:14 PM)

Yes, Dipak - isn't that why we are alive?

Dipak Kalra to Panelists and Attendees (12:15 PM)

Well, Diane, I hope we are alive for many reasons! (But, I admit I’m not sure what remark of mine you are referring to.)

Karen Sadler to Panelists and Attendees (12:17 PM)

As I’ve heard Dr Zach Bush frequently comment, there are many good practitioners in the system who think they are doing right by following the system…that’s what is taught in many mass training programs for the medical industry. It is important to differentiate between the good practitioner and the system. Looking at the root cause, the system is rigged not broken. We must co-create a new system.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:17 PM)

"...….many surveys show that the public are in favour of data use ONLY if it targets health benefits." That remark - hope it's OK to respond xxx also...…..

For the health of the planet as well as the health of the people!

Karen Sadler to Panelists and Attendees (12:18 PM)

@Diane Yes, health of planet & people.

Dipak Kalra to Panelists and Attendees (12:18 PM)

To a much earlier remark from Danny (sorry I’ve just seen it). Please don’t assume that company versus public body is the most important differentiator between research putting gain first or putting benefit first. I work with many people in companies who are highly motivated to tackle a societal health problem.

Dipak Kalra to Panelists and Attendees (12:20 PM)

It is nice of you to link health of people and planet - I like that vision. I am hoping (indeed, we are starting to look at) how advances in digital health can be greener - less carbon consuming. I admit not in depth, just starting that journey…

Karen Sadler to Panelists and Attendees (12:21 PM)

Another part of this conversation must include what unites us. A lot of this digital data divides us, separates us.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:21 PM)

Dipak. Yes (thank you too) - I  understand!! I realise there are many really lovely people who aim to be doctors and medical health workers (see Daniel above!!) who are really acting towards health - people as well as planet. But - that's why I'm sad as - the system (these days especially) trains people to be medication and scalpel oriented.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:22 PM)

Yes Karen - uniting is the way forward. There must be an OK and helpful place for digital

Dipak Kalra to Panelists and Attendees (12:23 PM)

In response to Karen: “We must co-create a new system.” I like to think that most health professionals do want to do the best for their patients, but we are informed and directed on the basis of the scientific evidence we have. If patients and the public can become more involved in shaping healthcare priorities, and be more involved in their own health and decision making (what you mean I hope by co-create) our health systems will be better and more person-centred. Also hopefully more wellness centred.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:24 PM)

Wellness centred!! Brilliant!!

Kurt Krueger to Panelists and Attendees (12:24 PM)

PANELIST: Please come to the AfterCHat.

AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Panelists and Attendees (12:26 PM)

Was this his email? nhf@sundkom.da

Looks like its dk — answered my own question!

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:28 PM)

Well done Amy!! Fighting myself not to write "think so" xxx

Daniel Rieders to Panelists and Attendees (12:30 PM)

Agree with paradigm shift, downward up, donut healthcare.  Patients have lost, generally speaking, of what they expect from healthcare.  Healthcare has way under delivered on some crucial aspects and expectations need to be reconfigured/.

Ian K to Panelists and Attendees (12:30 PM)

This is spot on Victoria. Love. It.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:31 PM)

Ooooh Victoria!! Visit Transition Town events (last sessions today, tomorrow and this weekend - paradigm shift there too!!

Karen Sadler to Panelists and Attendees (12:31 PM)

@Kurt, I don’t think I can make today’s after chat, have another call I’m on. I’m in Oceanside, CA - San Diego area Feel free to email me at soulinspiredwisdom@gmail.com so we can connect.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:32 PM)

Yes. This is Brilliant!! Why aren't our leaders following this??

Kurt Krueger to Panelists and Attendees (12:32 PM)
