...

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (11:00 AM)

Happy Monday Everyone!

rajinder to Panelists and Attendees (11:01 AM)

happy monday and welcome to one and all. lets hope to have a great conversation that is uplifting :-)

Roz Bound to Panelists and Attendees (11:02 AM)

happy family day - here in Canada! ❤️

Hannah Gosnell to Panelists and Attendees (11:02 AM)

Is anyone else seeing a blank screen?

All good now - thanks!

rajinder to Panelists and Attendees (11:02 AM)

i love the way how Jim always talks about Donald Trump, as thought he was more than a Archetype of the times we live it. Please don’t take him too personally, he reflects the contradictions and broken economic and social and political society and world.

Feeling heart beat and beating hearts, breathing

Me to Panelists (11:05 AM)

Zoom seems to show a black screen till I hit the "chat" button

Humanity Rising to Panelists and Attendees (11:07 AM)

Odd. Check  if you have your zoom in speaker view.

Diane Sue to Panelists and Attendees (11:11 AM)

Absolutely! Deep gratitude to Jim and all of the team that makes Humanity Rising possible.

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:16 AM)

Where do we have agency to create right relationship? To have all hearts on deck?

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (11:19 AM)

Morning everyone

rajinder to Panelists and Attendees (11:19 AM)

We need right relationships and left relationships and keep walking and breathing

I like what Suncica is saying.. the agency of the self

I think we could start by not taking ourselves too seriously.

not all thoughts are worth the entertainment

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (11:20 AM)

Right relationship is one where the relationship is more important than any of the participants. Sacricifinig for the good of the whole is critical. It is one of the values in the Resilient Values Set.

rajinder to Panelists and Attendees (11:21 AM)

would be great if suncica could elaborate of her idea of the positive loop between the individual and/or Ego and the other relationship that make larger loops to create society

Jen Forti to Panelists and Attendees (11:22 AM)

How do we measure right relationship with ourselves? In other words, how do we know whether our relationship with ourself is healthy or unhealthy?

rajinder to Panelists and Attendees (11:22 AM)

@jen, it is no measure of good health to be well adjusted to a sick society… J.K.

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:22 AM)

Right relationships - where we have choice; where we create from diversity, agency, with connection to build something new; bringing our many selves to the dynamic. What’s happening in my internal relationships effects relationships with others ; the loop of internal and structural dynamics. Integrating the many internal alienated parts of ourselves; what’s the dynamic inside?

Annelies Weijschede to Panelists and Attendees (11:23 AM)

with you!

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:23 AM)

Jen, I think we feel it in our heart xx

rajinder to Panelists and Attendees (11:24 AM)

The buddhist Eightfold Path consists of eight practices: right view, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samadhi ('meditative absorption or union').

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:24 AM)

what are the dominant voices within you?

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:24 AM)

What are the dominant voices in your relationships with others?

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:24 AM)

Right,  the one who’s concerned about looking good!

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:25 AM)

The "educator" with me is also strong. it's such a welcome journey for me to move from "I know" towards "I feel" or "I sense"

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:25 AM)

Also wanting to appear vulnerable

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:27 AM)

When I simply "witness" my self or other it feels good. I lay down judgement and criticism ....go towards wonder and staying in "neutral". this brings ease and opens space

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:27 AM)

The one who doesn’t have knowledge; not knowing is marginalized

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:28 AM)

?? What parts with your "inner hierarchy" get pushed down or away?

David Pinto to Panelists and Attendees (11:28 AM)

@kala nice

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:29 AM)

Curiosity is a major helper for us!

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:30 AM)

Curiosity YES!  Wondering about the other!

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (11:31 AM)

curiosity opens to compassion which cultivates imagination. we are imagining and creating at the same time

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:31 AM)

Recognizing the complexity, the value of what does not know,..

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:32 AM)

Valerie Kaur, SEE NO STRANGER, A MANIFESTO OF REVOLUTIONARY LOVE!

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:32 AM)

I can practice moving my 'I know' from my mind toy heart and instinctual centers

Me to All panelists and other attendees (11:32 AM)

Yes... I believe that curiosity is actually the primary factor in our Universe. With curiosity in play at the most elemental levels, everything else will fall into place eventually.

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:33 AM)

The innocence, the infinity, the sense of openness, the non dominant that doesn’t have the answers- the creative, the gentle, the compassionate: the one who wonders

Aida Merriweather to Panelists and Attendees (11:34 AM)

for me not knowing can tie into the part of myself that feels unworthy, uncertain, needing to be liked.  all these pieces I tend to marginalize a.  I am learning to bring them back & see what they are offering

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:34 AM)

Allowing the Child-self to emerge and have voice

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (11:35 AM)

can any of the panelists - like Jim share what they were afraid of when embarking on Humanity Rising?  the structure of creating at the same time as showing up for people - while building an unknown audience - look at what was created!  and continues to grow bamboo shoots

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:35 AM)

Yes, the wounded child is always wanting to heal.

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:35 AM)

Where something h my ew can emerge: sounds like the motive of Humanity Rising

Tom Bowling to Panelists and Attendees (11:35 AM)

We all need intellectual humility which requires a level of vulnerability and openness.

Aida Merriweather to Panelists and Attendees (11:36 AM)

I like that question Sarita.  Also curious

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:36 AM)

where something new can emerge

David Pinto to Panelists and Attendees (11:36 AM)

What is 'right relationship' between us here... as listeners?

Me to All panelists and other attendees (11:36 AM)

It's curiosity that allows the relations among primal forces. With curiosity in play, quantum relationships can form.

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:36 AM)

"Different qualities have different currencies" (value) and currents (flow in relationship to others)

Tom Bowling to Panelists and Attendees (11:37 AM)

Yes - curiosity is critical!

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (11:37 AM)

Books for children can be evaluated as a reference to keep us in negative hierarchy. example - Curiosity Killed the Cat.

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:37 AM)

Rescuing the inner child and utilizing vulnerability as a strength is imperative on the Hearts journey to heal and help contribute to the Unified field

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:37 AM)

Connection and choice for creativity to emerge beyond structural hierarchies

Aida Merriweather to Panelists and Attendees (11:39 AM)

That’s a long journey, Deanna Rice.  Worthwhile for me, but unpredictable

Ina Albert to Panelists and Attendees (11:39 AM)

Ina Albert: Place of ego in this process?

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:39 AM)

WONDER!   You are a part of me I don’t yet know!

Robin Geller to Panelists and Attendees (11:40 AM)

Non Communication Can Dominate

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:40 AM)

Listen to them!

Aida Merriweather to Panelists and Attendees (11:41 AM)

Sorry, Dehanna . Autocorrect

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:41 AM)

Be willing to give up “the moral ground”!

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:41 AM)

@Aida yes, understood, but to reach a precipice in consciousness & jump off into the unknown is the most powerful part of the Hero’s Journey 💥

Me to All panelists and other attendees (11:42 AM)

Ignore people who have no curiosity... Can they truly lack any curiosity? Sounds like grounds for divorce (ha!)

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:42 AM)

Sucica"Sometimes the only agency we have is to pay attention to our own experience."

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:42 AM)

We may need to tend our own wounds first!

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (11:43 AM)

I’ve sat on a few non profit Boards where there was NO DESIRE to invite curiosity. I had to work to sit in a state of grace to see how much effort could be thrust to squash the desire d’or inclusivity and conversation. The threat of dismantling a space of comfortable privilege to allow expansion is real. to observe this - does validate it’s a complicated surgery or procedure

Aida Merriweather to Panelists and Attendees (11:43 AM)

Dehanna, guess i need to remember to remind the inner child that we’ve got this as “we” jump together

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:43 AM)

Allowing the evolving ‘agenda’ of the Open Universal heart - that is alive and becoming - not limited by the ego agenda of the mind

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:44 AM)

I love the children's book idea, Sarita!

Jen Forti to Panelists and Attendees (11:44 AM)

As someone who sings to people for a living I’ve wondered a lot about whether starting off a conversation with someone who has very different views as I do with the question of “what is your favorite song? And seeing where that leads the conversation and if it helps break down some walls…

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (11:45 AM)

Yes Jen Forti- song vibrâtes and allows energies to dissolve.

Me to All panelists and other attendees (11:45 AM)

Jen, that's a beautiful thought...

Maureen Edwardson to Panelists and Attendees (11:46 AM)

and ASSumptions...52% of our perceptions are filtered through our own experience

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:46 AM)

Charles Eisenstein likes to ask the question, “What’s it like to be you?”

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:46 AM)

@Aida always invite your inner child to witness ALL your growth as awakened awareness grows in all dimensions of Human Experience

Jen Forti to Panelists and Attendees (11:46 AM)

Violence and disruption is very much a coping mechanism for kids growing up in broken homes

Aida Merriweather to Panelists and Attendees (11:46 AM)

I like that Jen Forti.  I’m always having songs in my head that help me understand what is going on internally

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:47 AM)

Tolerating is not a very high state!

Maureen Edwardson to Panelists and Attendees (11:47 AM)

Allowing differences

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:48 AM)

Integrating and contesting across the divides beyond our insecurities - so pivotal in our current world moment

creating across the divides

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:48 AM)

Please mention Valerie Kaur’s book!  It’s such a great teaching for this!

Maureen Edwardson to Panelists and Attendees (11:48 AM)

reacting is usually arising from unresolved issues getting triggered....turn within first

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:49 AM)

Self Righteousness is a major obstacle!

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:50 AM)

really, I know that one big time! I need volumes of softening and self-forgiveness.

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:50 AM)

Great subject for Humanity & Diplomacy

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (11:51 AM)

It feels almost like we idolize our own egos and views; we need to shatter these idols to allow the new ideas to emerge, new identities of greater community

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:51 AM)

Runi’s quote “Out beyond ideas of right-doing and wrong-doin there is a field.  I’ll meet. You there!”

Tom Bowling to Panelists and Attendees (11:51 AM)

Two resources that I have found valuable are Mark Gerzon’s “Leading through Conflict” and Parker Palmer’s “Healing the Heart of Democracy”

Jen Forti to Panelists and Attendees (11:51 AM)

I’m wondering if that would help, I haven’t actually tried it yet!

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:51 AM)

Walking in another’s moccasin’s is expanding

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (11:52 AM)

In many corporate settings and schools- the mere set up, creates lack of agency. at a stage of this evolution - we have to be brave enough to say that many of the rules and laws no longer apply. they need to be revised. Instituions can be revised just like personal relationships.

Jen Forti to Panelists and Attendees (11:52 AM)

But it will be a great experiment :)

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:52 AM)

one process that helps me with "You don't get it" (othering) is to move from "right" to "neutral" . this offers some MOVEMENT arising in ME. there could be done space for curiosity and wonder.

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (11:52 AM)

Deep Listening as a willingness to have our minds changed by what we hear.

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:52 AM)

righteousness stifles the possibility for alchemy

Aida Merriweather to Panelists and Attendees (11:53 AM)

Jen, I wish you a journey of good luck and wonder & being with

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:54 AM)

yes, Sarita, I witness your courage staying in these corporate settings. thank you!!

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:54 AM)

Question: Does quantum mechanics play a part in the witnessing of an objective?

Dr. Carroy (Cuf) Ferguson to Panelists and Attendees (11:55 AM)

In alignment with today’s theme, I humbly offer reference to an article I wrote in 2011 as president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology. It’s titled “Beyond Tolerance: Consciously Using Universal Energy Laws, Discernment, And Harmonious Relationship Principles”.  Here’s the link: ::https://www.academia.edu/7522077/Beyond_Tolerance_Consciously_Using_Universal_Energy_Laws_Discernment_and_Harmonious_Relationship_Principles::

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:55 AM)

Nice @Cuf 🙏

Maureen Edwardson to Panelists and Attendees (11:56 AM)

Thank you Dr C  Sounds fascinating  I will check itout

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (11:57 AM)

thanks, Cuf. 2011!

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:58 AM)

Yes, the patriarchal Force is still tearing their ugly heads...isn’t the Feminine Principal of receptivity softening Society

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (11:58 AM)

Time Spirit - To be fired and leave with grace has been an invitation to constantly evaluate my own ability to be more open hearted and more practice in sharing - to see more clearly what the hurdles are at the same time of seeing the emerging opportunities.

KATHERINE AUGUSTINE to Panelists and Attendees (11:59 AM)

Thank you for the great conversation today!

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (11:59 AM)

Love Dr Carroys’s writings. 🙏🏼

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (12:00 PM)

💜Sarita. Sitting in your own unknowing and "fire"

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:00 PM)

Yes, connecting is the great tapestry of walking in beauty

Jane Norton to Panelists and Attendees (12:01 PM)

can you use an example like Climate Change? What is the benefit of understanding where a climate denier is coming from?

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (12:02 PM)

Maybe Humanity Rising does a version of the Bernstein Bears doing a story of Anne Marie and Sunica -  those books are staples and actually quite violent. - but they can be used as a template to create the new books. just a fun easy creative thought of getting it to the youth who are being lead down a zoom tube

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (12:02 PM)

the power of presence to oneself and one another ! our mutual humanness...yes!

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:03 PM)

When can we ALL overcome “time” and make the NOW MOMENT the leap of consciousness

Aida Merriweather to Panelists and Attendees (12:03 PM)

I recommend Mo Willems as a prototype over Berenstain Bears.  The Elephant & Piggie books are excellent

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:03 PM)

we all desire for truly Humanity Rising

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (12:03 PM)

t he " time spirits " hijack all of us. we have this in common

Tammy Muter to Panelists and Attendees (12:04 PM)

Is there a practice to rid one self of time spirits? or is it in the recognition of them that we can heal them

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (12:04 PM)

Requires courage to create those spaces - ‘four’ - of the heart - L’sacre Coeur

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (12:04 PM)

Thanks Aida!

Aida Merriweather to Panelists and Attendees (12:05 PM)

Sarita—or revisit ArnoldLobel”s Frog & Toad series

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (12:05 PM)

"Natural History" by M.B. Goffstein (fav book for all of us) I will bring to after chat

Ina Albert to Panelists and Attendees (12:05 PM)

Ina Albert. Listening is basic - being there.  Children’s book “Granny Greeny Says List Louder” may be relevant to old and young.

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (12:05 PM)

Our of the joy if diversity to new and life emerges

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (12:05 PM)

out

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (12:06 PM)

yes Kala

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (12:06 PM)

Out of the joy of diversity the new and life emerges

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (12:06 PM)

Loved the Frog and Toad. yes.   I started to see the difference on book choices when my son was born. that’s when the rank and intellectual divide began in my own home.

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (12:07 PM)

difference between "hear" and "listen". BIG difference between "talk to" and "talk with".... words do matter. mutuality matters!

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (12:07 PM)

The Shift of the opening space is when there is movement. Must acknowledge this opening more. it’s the place of alchemy.

Patriciafaye Marshall to Panelists and Attendees (12:08 PM)

If indeed we had their life experience we’d share their perspective!

Being present to suffering is vital!

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (12:10 PM)

Wow Anne-Marie! Makes me remember in Toronto over a ten day conference taking Ubers daily I never had a  driver from the same country! Beautiful- the alchemy where the field softens

RUthe Schoder-Ehri,Squaxin land to Panelists and Attendees (12:11 PM)

we ALL want the same: to feel seen and accepted. yes, Life's intelligence holds us. beautiful.

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:11 PM)

Isn’t the “Alchemist” in us the wholeheartedly integration of the Feminine Principal?

Kurt Krueger to Panelists and Attendees (12:12 PM)

Being present at anytime is powerful… Practice the Presence of God ~ Holding the space for more Love to be drawn forth. :)

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (12:12 PM)

When that shift happens- it stays with the person. However impactful for the “agenda” of the moment, people don’t live in board rooms and conference rooms. they move thru their own life and I can’t believe that people don’t deeply desire for heart connection. that is the force that is available. always.  -

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (12:12 PM)

“Life’s intelligence gets in through the heart” - to co-create with us

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:13 PM)

Question: Is the non-binary sexual identity all apart of an androgynous God?

Robin Geller to Panelists and Attendees (12:13 PM)

Overall, specific insight about processing non communication, would you?

Aida Merriweather to Panelists and Attendees (12:13 PM)

Angeles Arrien used to say:  What we witness changes us.  When we are witnessed, we can’t go back.

Maureen Edwardson to Panelists and Attendees (12:13 PM)

the path from duality to oneness is a shift of perception

Kala to Panelists and Attendees (12:14 PM)

The Ocean refuses no river...- Sufi song

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (12:14 PM)

Dehanna - I’m curious about that too.

Aida Merriweather to Panelists and Attendees (12:14 PM)

Lovely, Kala

Sarita Patel to Panelists and Attendees (12:16 PM)

Love this Sunica!  this is the challenge. to constantly show up no matter how uncomfortable and holding the space.

Jane Norton to Panelists and Attendees (12:17 PM)
