   I'm sensing in this conversation the tension between the desire for "unity" and the value of diversity.     

   My two cents worth is that Unity is not going to manifest at the level of frameworks, metrics, theories of change, etc.  And that a diversity of those things is a sign of the health of this "movement of movements."     

   Perhaps there is a shared set of values we can align around, and perhaps the Earth Charter is a good example of that.  And... the REAL manifestation of Unity is, I believe, something at a spiritual level that does not lend itself to "rational" articulations. Rather, it is something that can be experienced in the heart, and that we must CHOOSE to believe exists, as an act of faith.
