Embracing our (in)abilities: Learning community-building from people with disabilities March 20, 2pm ET
American culture thrives on a certain type of attitude: “You can do it if you try!” Yet, these last twelve months of the pandemic have upended these expectations and made us aware of our limitations and inabilities. Could we learn from those in our midst who live with more consciousness of their own disabilities?

00:50:27 Sarita Patel: I’m working on a movie called Spinning Gold amongst other things- but I bring it up because it’s about the music created in the 60s ans 70s when the beauty of the music- the harmony- transcended the ego and it’s about the story of Neil Bogart. I bring this up because I’m using a completely new financing strategy - that does not include the current corrupt system. It is way harder Ofcourse - but I’m working with a Canadian woman who is 30 and brilliant and we are trying to create the new Model. When this premieres- we want to highlight all the things that will move humanity forward - because media still has so much power.
