There are women who are not meant to bear physical children, but they give rebirth to man in a spiritual sense., which is a highly valuable function.” (Hetaira = was a type of prostitute in ancient Greece, who served as an artist, entertainer and conversationalist in addition to providing sexual service. Unlike the rule for ancient Greek women, hetairas would be highly educated and were allowed in the symposium.
