It is the wrong metric. So why do you keep talking about "punching through 1.5 degrees". Any conclusion from this depends on computer models which are biased as well as inadequate. We should be looking, as Ed said, at at a broad spectrum of environmental damage, but most especially biodiversity. Stop talking about CO2.
