00:42:03    Heather Tischbein:    I hear and feel what Kevin is speaking to.  I am not yet ready to invite any indigenous friends here…as it doesn’t yet feel to me like this space is would be experienced as “safe”.  What I’ve learned is that if I want to hear what “others” are feeling and thinking…I need to go to where they are…rather than expecting “them” to come to “us”?

00:43:39    Sharon Pugh:    Given that there has been NO national confession, repentance and compensation of the descendants of colonizers/patriarchy/ toward indigenous peoples and peoples of color, the Energetic vibrations continue rippling thru out the field of consciousness...that's pure logic, pure science, natural, cosmic and universal laws...

00:49:02    Heather Tischbein:    The pope has apologized, but not yet repealed the papal bulls of the 15th century that unleashed and “authorized” white and Christian, imperial supremacy across the globe some 500 years ago.  For me, something more than “apology” is required in this moment…something like dismantling the mindset of colonization that embeds our international political economy.

00:50:51    Clare Rosenfield:    And the Rwandan and Burundian genocide happened because the British forced the two tribes to get identity cards and they put the Hutus in charge and so domination started.

00:53:41    Shannon McArthur:    One doesn’t ask a child to educate themselves - yet I hear what is intended. There’s a perspective that cannot be heard /learned without their voice(s) being experienced.

01:00:19    Clare Rosenfield:    I've sent donations to lots of schools for indigenous children but I'm concerned that these are the same schools that are the former Catholic dominating groups and I don't know whether they are worthy recipients of donations for that reason.

Also, he enjoyed it and we did need levity because it was heavy. What you fear is what you attract, what you condemn is what you experience.  So it would be more productive to talk about what we are wanting to create for the indigenous
