00:19:04    Shannon McArthur:    Henrietta Mann, Cheyenne, was missed today; both because she is indigenous and because she’s a woman. Both those voices were missing from today’s presentation. We continue to do our best to be inclusive.

00:24:46    Heather Tischbein:    Hello Hyacinth.  So good to see you, again.

00:28:03    Clare Rosenfield:    There was a meeting between the North, Central and South America by uniting the condor of the south, the quezal of the center, and the eagle of the north and they met in Costa Rica.  It was organized by my friend and his wife who run an ecological center called EcoMaste In Costa Rica.

00:29:54    Hyacinth Oesterlin:    Thank you Heather.  Have been out quite a bit to "in person " meetings. Was able to join only now to hear a bit of the discussion.  Listen and Learn. Blessings and Love

00:30:44    Clare Rosenfield:    What about calling on the 13 Grandmothers?

00:30:54    Shannon McArthur:    Great idea, Clare!!

00:31:27    Heather Tischbein:    Here’s one “collective” voice of indigenous grandmothers.  ::https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Council_of_Thirteen_Indigenous_Grandmothers::

00:33:15    Heather Tischbein:    And another “voice” that comes from some dialogues on science and spirituality that I attended 15 years ago.  ::https://paricenter.com/leroy-little-bear/::

HR!Day610 - Apology Program: Stories from Native American Elders

00:37:21    Sharon Pugh:    Kevin is on-point...

00:42:03    Heather Tischbein:    I hear and feel what Kevin is speaking to.  I am not yet ready to invite any indigenous friends here…as it doesn’t yet feel to me like this space is would be experienced as “safe”.  What I’ve learned is that if I want to hear what “others” are feeling and thinking…I need to go to where they are…rather than expecting “them” to come to “us”?

00:43:00    Kevin He/him Canada:    ^^^^^^^ yes Heather, Thanks.

00:43:39    Sharon Pugh:    Given that there has been NO national confession, repentance and compensation of the descendants of colonizers/patriarchy/ toward indigenous peoples and peoples of color, the Energetic vibrations continue rippling thru out the field of consciousness...that's pure logic, pure science, natural, cosmic and universal laws...

00:44:08    Charles Bensinger:    Yes, yes. It’s a matter of who’s asking to join whom?

00:49:02    Heather Tischbein:    The pope has apologized, but not yet repealed the papal bulls of the 15th century that unleashed and “authorized” white and Christian, imperial supremacy across the globe some 500 years ago.  For me, something more than “apology” is required in this moment…something like dismantling the mindset of colonization that embeds our international political economy.

00:49:34    Clare Rosenfield:    Right, Heather.  You are so right.  How can we advocate for that.

00:50:51    Clare Rosenfield:    And the Rwandan and Burundian genocide happened because the British forced the two tribes to get identity cards and they put the Hutus in charge and so domination started.

00:51:44    Sharon Pugh:    Exactly Heather. 1st there must be acknowledgement/ confession, repentance, etc because each has specific frequencies...

00:52:21    Sharon Pugh:    I am a woman of color...

00:53:41    Shannon McArthur:    One doesn’t ask a child to educate themselves - yet I hear what is intended. There’s a perspective that cannot be heard /learned without their voice(s) being experienced.

00:55:45    Sharon Pugh:    Exactly, educate yourselves as we educated ourselves about the white male colonizer patriarchal systems...and all the false constructs intended to dominate, all fear-based systemic fabrications...

01:00:19    Clare Rosenfield:    I've sent donations to lots of schools for indigenous children but I'm concerned that these are the same schools that are the former Catholic dominating groups and I don't know whether they are worthy recipients of donations for that reason.

01:00:31    Sharon Pugh:    You're Not children... however, even a child easily understands the golden rule...and has the natural empathy of deeply feeling another's pain, suffering

01:01:43    Clare Rosenfield:    So what are you saying?  Keep giving tot hem?

01:02:22    Shannon McArthur:    Yes, Clare. I hear you.  Sharon, true, and we are not learning the simple truths but how to find our way through the minefields of historic horror.

01:04:39    Shannon McArthur:    Kat, thank you for bringing us such a beautiful view…

01:05:25    Shannon McArthur:    Kat, WOW… wish I was there with you… no wonder people love skiing!!

01:13:22    Iya Tahirah:    I am Iya Tahirah @ riverleea@gmail.com

01:17:32    Carol Sue Engleman on Facebook:    I have company now so have to go.  Kevin, sorry I offended you.  In my defense, I had been waiting to tell that since we got on and he was about to leave. Also, he enjoyed it and we did need levity because it was heavy. What you fear is what you attract, what you condemn is what you experience.  So it would be more productive to talk about what we are wanting to create for the indigenous
