   Thanks m monk. Here’s a thought: we each possess a non-sensory — mostly subconscious in the modern world — mode of awareness that involves a sharing of feelings between us and the things of the world.  Alfred North Whitehead, who rejected simple location of things, called such sharings “prehensions” and “perception in the mode of causal efficacy.”  This mode of consciousness has been greatly submerged in our modern world. I think this relates to David Bohm”s implicate order and to the notion of “participatory consciousness.”
