We are living in a time in history when the tattered remains of the once proud Republican party has rejected the fundamental principles it once stood for and now even refuses to put forward a clear and constructive platform and agenda to address the systemic problems facing our nation.  Instead, the single focus of what is now caålled the MAGA Party is to use any and all means, not to mention, billions of dollars of dark money, distortions lies and divisions to engineer control of the election process.

HR Presenters Day 557.png

To this end, not only have they put in place an avalanche of laws in many of our states that seek to restrict voting and redistrict boundaries to ensure the control by the minority, but this sad excuse for a political party has also put forward a slate of candidates who are running for major local, state and national offices as election deniers who have declared that if elected they will do all in the power to ensure that the will of the people can be overturned if they do not like the outcome of elections.

At the heart of this effort is the effort to either elect Secretaries of State that will willingly collude in this process or to elect election-denying Governors who will appoint people to this position who will do their bidding.

In the face of this threat, the greatest in this 246+ year history of this nation, it is clear that women – democrats, republicans and independents -are our most potent force and best line of defense.

So our featured guests, Eleanor Le Cane former Assistant Secretary of State from Massachusetts, Jena Griswold, current Secretary of State from Colorado (in a prerecorded interview that was not shown).
