Today we dialogue with an historian and one of the founders of the anti nuclear movement in the US: Harvey Wasserman
Harvey Wasserman has been demonstrating for civil rights, peace, legalization of marajuana, election protection & more since 1962. His newest SPIRAL OF US HISTORY is the most thorough re-assessment of our nation’s story since Zinn’s 1979 PEOPLE’S HISTORY OF THE US, which was preceded by HARVEY WASSERMAN’S HISTORY OF THE US in 1972.
Harvey helped start the NO NUKES movement when his communal organic farm helped defeat atomic reactors proposed for Montague, Massachusetts in 1972.
He spoke at Woodstock2 in 1994 between the Nevill Brothers & Carlos Santana.
He currently co-convenes the Green-Grassroots Emergency Election Protection Coalition (Gree-Gree) zoom calls every Monday at 5pm eastern via www.electionprotectionep.org
Co-convener:
- Jim Garrison, President, Ubiquity University
