I got quite a long answer, but the summary of it was that humans are an unavoidable part of evolution.
That evolution was going to culminate towards a species like us, and that it wasn't enough to just have all the animal and plant species that were already there without us being added to it as well.
There needed to be a species with the potential that we have in order for our earth to evolve. Even if that species would use its powers in a destructive manner but that species (us) is here to learn, to evolve to higher levels of consciousness and we will make it a species. This time we will.

00:17:11 Renilde: And then why does this earth need to evolve to that state, I asked? Because we are part of a larger intergalactic confederation in which multiple planets that support life are evolving to an advanced level of consciousness.
And then why is that important? That's what's needed for the cosmos to take the next step in its evolution. But as a human, this is not something I can understand right now. That's what the mountains of Bhutan told me today and they were pleased to be were 5 are as they have been treated well throughout time by the Bhutanese unlike some of their cousins to the west they said.
