Interviews for the film "The Challenge of Rudolf Steiner"
Blending science with what might be seen as mysticism, Biodynamic farmers and gardeners work in concert with the subtle energies of nature and the broader solar system to cultivate harmonies as yet unrecognized by conventional practice.
In Biodynamics, each farm or garden is a unique individual; an integrated, whole, living organism made up of interdependent elements: fields, forests, plants, animals, soils, compost, people, and the spirit of the place.
Biodynamic Agriculture is rooted in the work of philosopher and scientist Dr. Rudolf Steiner, whose 1924 lectures to farmers opened a new way to integrate scientific understanding with a recognition of a vital and intelligent spirit in nature.
The interviews in this documentary were filmed in the making of Jonathan Stedall's film
