00:04:53    Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network:    Rudolf Steiner was…

00:05:06    Patricia Aguirre:    Hello dear ones..Here...but will be quiet..because in place difficult to be 100% present.

00:05:30    Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network:    ISLAND is his best work

00:09:13    MVC:    Non-relativity of normalcy that contains the existence of the unrealistic toxic realities are made by the medium contextual perspectives that you have been subjected to and will keep you from the truth to self

¬A Perspective B Thoughts

00:16:22    Stanley Pokras:    It might be usefully to read the bio we have for Edi. ::https://othernetworks.org/Edi_Pyrek::

00:18:42    diana:    Paloma, what was the Uni in Japan?

00:19:19    diana:    And this Prof there, who has created this Special Forum for his tech students?

00:19:31    Paloma:    Tokyo institute of technology

00:23:31    David Stoney:    Today’s disturbing HR session reminded me — not in a good way — of Iain McGilchrist’s book, The Master and His Emissary, in which he argues that we’ve become dominated by a separatist left hemisphere neural processing, i.e., the emissary, and lost touch with the participatory right hemisphere processing — the true master — that should be presencing us in a meaningful living world.  It appears that AI will provide for an even more powerful Master of the Master leading us further and further away from an equitable, sustainable world and closer to collapse.

00:24:03    Paloma:    Please contact me directly about the role of the president in creating a global leadership academy for addressing historic global issues from an ethical stance  . Palomapavel77@gmail.com

00:27:15    Shannon McArthur:    Paloma, would that be part of an Office of Peace?

00:27:30    Paloma:    Request for additional AI sessions which include: 1) AI 101, history , current status , major sectors impacted now and in future

2) leaders in ethical AI leadership ,

00:27:50    Paloma:    Ditto on Ian McGilchrist

00:28:21    Shannon McArthur:    Sounds like (part of?) a course from UU…

00:29:55    Lynn Brodlie:    IAN MCGILCHRIST  'THE MATTER WITH THINGS' two large volumes. An amazing creation

00:31:06    MVC:    This year I have a simple prayer:

Please heal the broken. Make well the sick. Restore happiness to the depressed. Bring love to the lonely, food to the hungry, and peace to our world

00:31:12    Sharon:    Didn't HR do this a few months ago?

00:32:15    David Stoney:    Replying to "IAN MCGILCHRIST  'TH..."

Thanks Lynn, Yes The Matter With Things is a masterpiece

February 6 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm PST

Topic: Thinking Outside All the Boxes: AI Applications and Ethical Challenges

Presenters: Wesley J. Wildman

AI and related computational techniques are transforming economies. They’re also rocking universities. Everyone has heard about the effect of generative AI on teaching and learning. Surprisingly, however, computational methods are also revitalizing the humanities, arts, and social sciences, and demonstrating the value of those disciplines to the rest of the university. This presentation, from the Co-Chair of Boston University’s AI Task Force, will reveal what is happening in these parts of the university, opening a discussion about the multidimensional power and ethical challenges of these technologies.

00:45:26    Kurt Krueger, PeaceMakers Circles/Network:    Kurt gets to go to a PeaceMaker Circle meeting. CU tomrrow.

00:47:59    Shannon McArthur:    Leo, that sounds REALLY interesting and very co-incident with HR. (Is MOM involved in this scheduling? I think SO!!)

00:48:52    Jack Strasburg:    The AI conversation today accentuates my frequent reminders that we need to get much better organized and collaborated and provide the needed leadership to manifest a world that works for all

00:50:56    David Stoney:    I’m going to bail for the Cobb Institute program too. Thanks, love and peace to all.
