01:18:54 Lynn Brodlie: Re Indigenous people: The Australian government/citizens are still rejecting proposals to recognize Aboriginal people in the country's constitution and establish a body to advise Parliament on Indigenous issues. This is despite them being in existence for 60-63,000 years (as Richard Dolan mentioned today). Yet it is only three centuries since other people started to arrive in Australia which became independent in 1788 where a settlement was established, hence Australia Day.
