We developed The Most Outstanding Middle School Physical Education program in California by focusing on Strengthening Character, Fit for Life, and FUN! Rather tan the normal sports tournament driven Physical Education.
We taught every student in the school. Never had to have a ‘police’ officer on campus even though it had the biggest Gang in the San Fernando Valley until it was mandated in every school in Los Angeles! Character education brings more peace! One unit was, Create a new game, you have this space and this choice of equipment (different sizes and shapes of balls and scarves, and… They’ve already learned Cooperative games
