00:34:41 paulcurtishillery: I used to watch a lot of this mega/violent movies, less than TV shows. I make films and wrote and edited books about film. Modern film, to me, began with westerns that suddenly changed because to the glorification of violence that had to be put down during Vietnam. Suddenly people shot didn’t just put their hand over their hearts, but THE WILD BUNCH changed it all where people got to see explosive packs under their costume’s blow them to BITS. It was good to show the people the reality of war. Now it is just seen as tasteless.
