The First Great Synthesis was during the 54 years of peace and friendship between the Mayflower Pilgrim Separatists and the Native Americans they lived amongst. The Second Great Synthesis was when aspects of the Great Law of the Iroquois were integrated into the US Constitution. We are now in the Third Great Synthesis as we open to our “Pan-Indigenousness” through the new science and new energies and our choices to align with our hearts and the rest of creation. I was moved to tears listening to Anne. This is the explanation for how we got to where we are which gives us the understanding about what needs to happen to turn the world around. This is the absolute best recounting of history I ever have heard and every human being should hear this. One thing this brought to mind is how Greta Thunberg could team up with Anne Baring to represent the story in-between the bookends of the young and the old!
