Putin may “see” what you’re describing but he is a deranged gangster and was that for years before he felt moved to invade Ukraine. Talk to those survivors of his suppression of any political competition. I’ll repeat: both giant nation-states are hopelessly corrupt, their leaders drunk on power and ego gigantism. “We” are not going to war. These same power drunks are the ones going to war — and dragging the innocent citizens of each country along with it.

Shannon, I think I would let the men carry the poles, but would let the women be walking along side, or in-between the men at the front and the back. I don't like the extreme segregation. Back in early Christianity, there were many women church leaders. I guess I'd like a procession that harkens more back to that model. I'm not happy with that visual I got of the women being on the periphery during the procession.

Palentines Day, now, inspired by St. Valentine’s Day, holds us all in love. Exercises in grade school taught me to give love to everyone, even if they were the bullies that made my life difficult. All the “pals” were to be honoured by little hearts that said “be mine” and “I love you”. Let us go back to childhood in this time, and love Everyone! ...regardless of the experience encountered in this realm.
