We live in an ethos of "rights" and less often we focus on "responsibilities."
Are they two sides of a coin? Which is the obverse (front face) and which the reverse (back face)?
"Rights of nature" is about "responsibilities of human"?
"Human" is integrated as "nature" (and not opposed to or apart from nature.)
The "right" of everything to exist corresponds to the "responsibility" of everything to co-exist, ie. to sustain and generate everything in the best interest of everything.
Humans have much to learn from "the rest of nature" how to responsibly coexist as one planet and multiple ecosystems. To become the ecological human, the consciousness of nature.

Alberta Iron Cloud Miller once told me when I was trying to help organize a ride we were planning, “Milt you can’t organize this, if there’s not SPIRIT, it's not going to happen. Cities need more not fewer trees. We need to rewild our cities. Resplendent, reverence for the worlds they lift up. I have had this feeling and Xplained to a road crew cutting near us and also felt the complete inability of the road worker to have any understanding of how connected I felt to the trees he was cutting down.
