...

11:05:10 From Stanley Pokras Pokras to Everyone:

Undaunted… by working together, we shall overcome! It’s Day 513 of Humanity Rising and we need to put this amazing program on the front pages of our news all over the nation.

11:06:05 From Shannon McArthur (she/her) to Everyone:

Loving greetings from the traditional lands of the Secwepemc now known as Kamloops BC Canada. Welcome to Humanity Rising! We ARE Undaunted!!

11:08:03 From Shannon McArthur (she/her) to Everyone:

Lovely to have you back with us, Carolyn.

11:11:55 From MARIA PATRICIA PRADO to Everyone:

   unstoppable!

11:12:48 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

I'm guilty of believing that "it is better to let someone else who 'knows what they are doing' take care of everything". I am now aware how that irresponsible that was of me, how that has outsourced my power and choices. I am ready to take that power back which means becoming more involved, responsible, and active.

11:14:24 From Kurt Krueger to Everyone:

11:15:28 From Stanley Pokras Pokras to Everyone:

It seems clear that the BIG Capitalists will find authoritarian societies more comfortable to their purposes than democratic societies. With a dictatorship, there is only ONE person to hold control over. It's so much less messy than a society where there are lots of people who have a say in what goes on.

11:17:15 From Kevin he/him Canada to Everyone:

   Introverts vs extroverts….?

11:19:14 From Candy Leonard to Everyone:

This cross tab of the data is interesting BUT white maleness is key. We mustn’t lose sight of that.

11:21:44 From Candy Leonard to Everyone:

And by capitalism and the scarcity mindset

11:22:41 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

Driven by fear which puts people in survivor mode feeling threatened and reacting to fight for their lives even though not true.

11:23:02 From Candy Leonard to Everyone:

   It’s been downhill since PATCO

11:24:17 From Vivian Fulk to Everyone:

Gift link from The Economist How to win Ukraine’s long war  ::https://econ.st/3OMM09V::

11:24:18 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

There is a difference between "education" and wisdom

11:24:52 From Stanley Pokras Pokras to Georg Boch(Direct Message):

   Thank you, Georg!

11:25:21 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

Education can teach how to build a nuclear bomb, wisdom is what prevents us from using it

11:25:50 From Candy Leonard to Everyone:

Democracy is too messy for them. It requires deliberation and thought - which we are ALL losing our capacity and taste for - thanks to Silicon Valley.

11:26:20 From Jane Norton to Everyone:

I think our democracy has failed partly because a 2 party system in unworkable. Most other democracies have muliti-party systems where they have to work together to create coalitions. There is no incentive to do that in the US- so the 2 parties are always at odds now.

11:26:52 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

the thinking I'm seeing is history repeating its self from the zealous early Christians who rejected anything that other than "with our faith, we desire no further belief."  therefore if it doesn't fit their belief it doesn't exist.

11:27:10 From Barbro Esbjörnsdotter to Everyone:

   Jane, you are so right.

11:27:29 From Kurt Krueger to Everyone:

PREVENTING VIOLENCE. This program, ::http://LivingValues.net:: that has over 90% reduction in violence in a Thai Refugee Camp within 2 years! The woman who developed it then went to Johannesburg, RSA and designed a program for street people - similar results! Here's more on three quality character development programs: Character Inclusion for Regenerative Societies, Diane Tillman, Daniel Allen. ::https://youtu.be/08sYrYfNvnw:: a Humanity Rising Global Solutions Summit program produced by the Peace Lab.

EDUCATION: FREE Living Values Education Program: The first two Values instructed are Love and Peace.  All the other Values are generated from these. Thus affecting ALL life on our planet in every day.

11:27:32 From Kurt Krueger to Everyone:

PARENTING is awesomely effective in opening our hearts and expanding them. Read and apply: Nurturing with Love and Wisdom, Disciplining with Peace and Respect: Mindful Parenting, by Diane Tillman. Have the Living Values practices taught is schools… For 2 minutes listen to this: ::https://youtu.be/A7VQHNd_MKE::

Developing and applying quality values is vitally important for all levels of society.

11:28:18 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

and in our 2 party system one party can bottleneck anything getting considered for legislation

11:28:46 From Jane M to Everyone:

Isn't the 'Supreme Court' supposed to be solely about justice and not biased in favour of right or left governments.  Also, there seems to be something wrong with the fact that these justices have their positions for life. This invites huge, long term imbalance if they are biased in any way. eg Amy Barrette etc.

11:30:05 From Dr. Carroy (Cuf) Ferguson to Everyone:

As an African American, in my humble view, most members of the group have always understood that there is a race-linked wound in the human psyche, fueled by fear, that is fertile ground for what is now called the “replacement theory.”  Religious dogma is often used to justify actions to overlook or deny this race-linked wound.

11:30:22 From Stanley Pokras Pokras to Everyone:

The ascendence of the Right in American politics took off with the Lewis Powell Memo: A Corporate Blueprint to Dominate Democracy. ::https://www.greenpeace.org/usa/the-lewis-powell-memo-corporate-blueprint-to-dominate-democracy/::

11:30:30 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:

Sad and scary - yes it's the grip of the old paradigm holding REALLY tightly - ergh!

11:30:38 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

we need reforms of term limits for legislators and the supreme court.  life is changing too fast and we need to have a justice system and legislative system that is updated to the time we live in now

11:31:22 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

sometimes an idea who is no longer viable becomes more entrenched and fights for survival before its demise.  are we living this?

11:31:36 From Jane M to Everyone:

   Yes I agree Deborah.

11:31:50 From Shannon McArthur (she/her) to Everyone:

   Are we ever!

11:32:15 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:

Yes I'm from Ohio - so sad - our state leadership has been taken over by some of this very outdated  and non-sensical theory.

11:32:16 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

I'm concerned that it is authoritarianism hiding in theorcracy

11:32:40 From Candy Leonard to Everyone:

   Scarcity mindset

11:34:16 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

what you are speaking of sounds like a person who is stuck in younger psychological stages of development that weren't completed so they could emotionally mature

11:34:31 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:

Yes, was just typing this - I believe it's fear-based put on those with unhealed trauma.

11:35:29 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:

            =========================

11:35:33 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

I agree Deborah. I feel that our cultures/society are missing the initiation process that allows us to move through childhood to adolescence to adulthood. Most people are stuck in that child-like/adolescent immature state.

11:35:45 From Candy Leonard to Everyone:

   Hurt people hurt people

11:36:28 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

(Myself is included in that, I recognize I have more maturing to do)

11:36:35 From Jane M to Everyone:

What led to individuals feeling powerless...this hs the question and what trauma have they experienced?

11:36:49 From Barbro Esbjörnsdotter to Everyone:

   never heard of that!

11:37:27 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

my ex husband was of the proud boys persuasion who was physically abused in childhood, went into the military during Viet Nam and was not treated well when he came back became a police officer who blamed blacks and women for his lack of getting a job and reenacted his trauma using his power in an abusive way.

11:37:33 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

I believe most humans are codependent on our systems, outsourcing our power to the medical/educational/government agencies

11:37:34 From Kurt Krueger to Everyone:

AN HR program presented by the Peace Lab, 3-2-21. Ulf Sandstrom has some incredibly effective tools and experience... The Intersection of Trauma, Compassion and Value Economics, https:/youtu.be/_gx9ei2QrUM, Ulf Sandstrom, Chip Williams, Ann Helmke, David Pinto, Day 195,

11:37:40 From Shannon McArthur (she/her) to Everyone:

Honouring Chief Phil Lane Jr., from whom I first heard the statement “Hurt people hurt people.”

11:37:43 From Dolores Doonan to Host and Panelists:

Also Many hurt people heal and help people

11:38:01 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

I think we are living the consequences of unexpressed, unprocessed, and unintegrated trauma individually, collectively, and intergenerationally.

11:38:10 From Candy Leonard to Everyone:

   Yep

11:38:28 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

i believe you nailed it Deborah

11:38:30 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

Neuroscience shows that watching violence impacts the brain

11:38:31 From Jane M to Everyone:

Yes Carolyn....we all have a story.

11:38:49 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

mirror neurons we feel what we witness

11:39:46 From David Stoney to Everyone:

Sally Weintrobe, a well-known British psychoanalyst, has just released a very interesting book that addresses many of the psychological bases of our current predicament: “Psychological Roots fo the Climate Crisis: Neoliberal Exceptionalism and the Culture of Uncare.”  It may be available in paperback, with a discount, via ::https://www.sallyweintrobe.com/:: and www.bloombury.com

11:39:49 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:

Sadly, up until now, many Fox watchers I know had trauma and abuse in their childhoods, severe and unspoken… never went to counseling or treated.

11:40:14 From Dan Balcaban to Everyone:

Anyone want a hug? I'll take one :)

11:40:16 From Kurt Krueger to Everyone:

11:43:17 From Kurt Krueger to Everyone:

FORGIVENESS is valuable to release trauma… The Four Sacred Gifts, a great book by an indigenous elder, Anita Sanchez - Forgiving the Unforgivable is the first of The Four Sacred Gifts.

   Great book, Kurt!

11:43:46 From Shannon McArthur (she/her) to Everyone:

Anita Sanchez is a great writer!

11:45:11 From MARIA PATRICIA PRADO to Everyone:

In  taoist alchemy ...we transmute negative emotions like compost. acknowledge and compost..Fear transforms into serenity, tranquility..

11:45:26 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

yes it is important to understand the messages of the emotion of fear as we need to understand how all of our emotions are messages.  they are not good or bad.  all of our emotions are there for a reason and we are illiterate about our emotions and their value to us.

11:45:52 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

I love that Maria. Is that also referred to as Tonglen?

11:45:54 From Kurt Krueger to Everyone:

   ::http://carolynbaker.net::

11:46:09 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

Yes integrating the shadow side of ourselves sets us free to express our brilliance

11:46:42 From Mary Thorp_WV to Everyone:

I don't think it's about FEAR only.  I think it has to do with being able to be with all our emotions & how to be appropriate to all those parts of us. Those emotions are messages for us.  They are the gifts of being HUMAN.

11:47:03 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

embracing our polarities allows us to embrace our humanness so we can hear our soulfullness

11:48:38 From Meg Newhouse to Host and Panelists:

I would agree except that I believe that the positive emotions trump the negative (higher vibration).

11:49:03 From Shannon McArthur (she/her) to Everyone:

   Please provide the link, Carolyn!

11:49:33 From Kurt Krueger to Everyone:

Lets get into nature, commune with ourSelves to learn the balancing act nature may instruct it in...

11:50:07 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

individuating is the first step to hearing the still small voice of our soul so we can open to a higher calling and manifest that aspect in daily living.

11:50:11 From Dan Balcaban to Everyone:

we should also love and respect the people we feel are not onboard

11:50:18 From Jan Cafearo to Host and Panelists:

This is exactly what I am experiencing, so good to hear this

11:50:51 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

   Thanks, Vivian!!

11:51:39 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

yes Dan I agree a spiritual love and respect that each person is doing what they believe.  all of us need to understand that there are unintended consequences for our actions.  we need to be open to this so we can course correct when we get too full of our ego.

11:51:45 From Mary Thorp_WV to Everyone:

   ::https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-1fv-5_ldM::

11:51:55 From Shannon McArthur (she/her) to Everyone:

   Already done, Jim

11:52:22 From Marie-France Lepage to Everyone:

Wu Wie... There is not a best, perfect note in a partition. They all contribute to the depth of a symphony. So are emotions, so are experiences...

11:52:30 From Carolyn Baker, Ph.D. to Host and Panelists:

11:52:54 From MARIA PATRICIA PRADO to Everyone:

What is being brought here is amazing. synchronically today I had to deal with so many challenges that I had to non stop practice all I teach i inner alchemy...and others...wow..difficult..No good or bad...its about positive and negative....

11:53:23 From Dan Balcaban to Everyone:

   I'm positively negative

11:53:33 From Dan Balcaban to Everyone:

   :p

11:53:49 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

I agree Carolyn. I do not believe there is no "good or bad". There just IS. Good and bad is subjective.

11:54:04 From Mary Thorp_WV to Everyone:

I love that, Carolyn.  Holding all the emotios. Something else becomes available by holding all of them.

11:54:23 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

Oops, I meant to say: I don't believe there is "good or bad" There just IS

11:54:27 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

If the positive trumps the negative then why are we where we are?

11:54:29 From Dan Balcaban to Everyone:

I feel that my ancestor was a tree

11:55:05 From Candy Leonard to Everyone:

   And Shakespeare

11:55:20 From Kathleen McTeigue to Everyone:

I believe he said "I'd rather be whole than good."

11:55:34 From Jane M to Everyone:

Holding the postive and negative together with love and compassion.....

11:55:36 From Meg Newhouse to Host and Panelists:

I agree we have to hold both, but I still believe they are different vibrations.  No we can still hold the tension of the opposites and I could also accept transmutation. I believe we are here to create more love in this world. not equally valant.

11:55:44 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:

   integration of energy?

11:55:46 From MARIA PATRICIA PRADO to Everyone:

   Both!!!

11:56:07 From Dan Balcaban to Everyone:

For example, these talks often annoy me however I still love you

11:56:12 From Cheryl Berkowitz to Host and Panelists:

The space of holding itself is the transformational medium.

11:56:15 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:

Meg Newhouse to Host and Panelists (11:55 AM)

I agree we have to hold both, but I still believe they are different vibrations.  No we can still hold the tension of the opposites and I could also accept transmutation. I believe we are here to create more love in this world. not equally valant.

11:56:37 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

There is a spiral of emotions and vibrations we cycle through. It's only when we get "stuck" in one of them that there becomes an imbalance

11:56:39 From Shannon McArthur (she/her) to Everyone:

Dan, loving your allowance of the annoyance, and moving beyond it ;)

11:56:51 From Deborah Chelette-Wilson to Everyone:

polarities exist on this physical reality.  holding both creates space for our soulfull selves to come through

11:57:01 From Dan Balcaban to Everyone:

   hahaha thanks Shannon

11:57:10 From brett barndt to Host and Panelists:

without negative there is no positive

without negative there is no positive

11:58:29 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

Interesting, I've never heard that concept before. That makes sense (about being light but not whole)

11:58:36 From Dan Balcaban to Everyone:

Yin yang live side by side with no gap right? or did I get the wrong tattoo

11:58:38 From Marie-France Lepage to Everyone:

That is why Christianity had to invent Satan, as the opposite, but exterior to God...

11:59:04 From Shannon McArthur (she/her) to Everyone:

Everyone, please remember to change the To: from Host and Panelists to Everyone here in the chat box so Everyone gets to see what you say.

11:59:05 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

We need to round out that light with some Kali energy

11:59:21 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

   Haha Dan!

11:59:41 From Dan Balcaban to Everyone:

   ;)

11:59:50 From Meg Newhouse to Everyone:

I think it is both- and… and I also like adding grace.. in a dualistic consciousness you must have both. But is there a more unity consciousness coming?

11:59:56 From Debra Kaiser to Host and Panelists:

Yes holding the polar opposites, pushing away nothing, seeing both for what they are, is the way to move more fully into our emergent selves.  Anything else including denial of a seeming ‘negative' or what might be perceived as something we ‘don't want’, ignoring it instead of embracing everything, is a form of spiritual bypassing.

12:00:12 From Harriett Crosby to Host and Panelists:

Jung wrote about the transcendent function rising up from the unconscious in a dream that would often express a symbol of transformation. A wholly new image that could resolve the conflict.

12:00:20 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

   Ooh!!! Touche Carolyn!!!

12:01:09 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:

So it's not that Jesus was perfect v. whole, being that he held all in love what many labeled good and bad - but the way the Christians HELD him, interpreted the Bible, perhaps often purposely for power?

12:01:10 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:

Harriett Crosby to Host and Panelists (12:00 PM)

Jung wrote about the transcendent function rising up from the unconscious in a dream that would often express a symbol of transformation. A wholly new image that could resolve the conflict.

12:01:29 From MARIA PATRICIA PRADO to Everyone:

If Jesus was around he would definitely not express what followers...and church projected.

12:01:43 From Dan Balcaban to Everyone:

I like the Void, been there a few times. it's quite peaceful

12:02:07 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

Woah, my mind is blown. I think you have it Katherine.

12:02:20 From Charry Stover to Everyone:

Yes once Christianity got in bed with (the Roman) Empire it really got twisted.

12:02:20 From MARIA PATRICIA PRADO to Everyone:

super distorted...Anthony de Mello a jesuit brings a completely diferente understanding ..I recommend the Art of Love..

12:02:50 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:

Agree… and now… embrace with grace

12:04:19 From MARIA PATRICIA PRADO to Everyone:

Impeccability in the tolteca tradition expresses that  is the use of energy adequately...neither left or right..in the middle..path of heart

12:04:37 From Jan Cafearo to Host and Panelists:

For myself it not power of hope, but the power of ‘there is nothing else I can but engage with full commitment’ which brings joy and energy. This is gift after the gruelling time of coming to acceptance

12:04:41 From Kurt Krueger to Everyone:

   Anthony deMello is great.

12:05:02 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:

If you want a copy of this chat, send me your email address, stan@othernetworks.org

12:05:04 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

We have been conditioned to avoid pain "at all costs". I believe feeling all our feelings (including pain) is how we heal

12:05:49 From Dr. Carroy (Cuf) Ferguson to Everyone:

One of the Universal Energy Laws is the law of polarity:  Energy always contains a duality or polarity. This may be seen as positive/negative, male.female, good/bad, high quality/low quality. This creates an unending array of choices within choices as you select your preferred polarty at each crossroad.

12:05:49 From MARIA PATRICIA PRADO to Everyone:

I will definitely buy your book Carolyn!!!

12:05:49 From Karri-ann Flater to Everyone:

I love that Maria. The heart is central, and it can go vertical or horizontal

12:06:22 From Stan for the ChatPeople to Everyone:

12:15:47 From Dr. Carroy (Cuf) Ferguson to Everyone:

A view about the Universal law of Polarity:  Polarity creates pathways and choices in physicality; there are no better or worse from a cosmic view—just choices.  The only value judgment in the Universe is energy efficiency; the “best” choice is that which uses the least amount of energy to achieve a goal.  A basic soul preference and a lifetime goal help you to maneuver through a sea of choices.  The current planetary and individual choice involves the pain/joy polarity—the choice between growth with pain or growth with joy.
