I think we thought (i thought) that people would see the benefit and acknowledge it. Now I don't think we changed peoples minds, we just did the work. In a political system it is the work, not minds. Mr. T chose emotions and that has a solidity that minds don't have.

Not everyone had this same experience, BIPOC have always had a different experience in relationship with the federal government. The fact that isn't even acknowledge speaks volumes. Again, As an indigenous person an elder from a Nation/ State within the borders of two countries we need to be heard reagarding this nation building.

If you are reaching out to young people those traditional media sources are not what resonates. The arts, music, creative, entertainment venues have a wider reach. Co create the venues with those who you want to reach. Why would I as a young person ( granted I am not) want to be poll worker/ why would I want or need to be involved in this process.
