We have a deep fundamental problem with how democracy operates. The system is unfit for a genuine democratic process that is focused on the needs of populations where they reside.

I am from Ohio, go home a lot, and live in SC. I don't think we can overstate the unfortunate power of the false propaganda and disinformation that Fox News created, not to mention some of the local papers that have been taken over.
