Group Culture*
Self-Care: When each person agrees to take care of themselves, no one has to worry about if everyone is ok.
Choice: You do not have to do anything you don’t want to do. It is safe here to practice saying “no” and be heard. Your “no” is as respected as your “Yes”.
Pause: You can call pause at any time. Call a pause when you need a moment to slow down and breathe, if you feel confused, or to address a persistent feeling or thought.
Contact: There are different kinds of contact: physical, attentional and energetic. Ask for permission before you make contact. Brief and frequent eye contact generates oxytocin.
Confidentiality: Everything that happens here is held sacred, it is not shared without your express permission.
The Circle: Everyone in the circle is equally important. We freely choose to be present in mutual support and cooperation.

FURTHERING THE PREVENTION MODEL: Check out the Living Values Education Program: The first two Values instructed are Love and Peace. All the other Values are generated from these.
