...a darkness covered the land. The human creatures who inhabited the beautiful blue marble in space huddled in their homes longing for community lost or suspended.
A wizard in the West contrived a plan. Each morning he lit a fire to gather the folk from internet space. He invited elders, visionaries, and dreamers to tell the new saga of Humanity Rising.
After guests had departed a wizard in the East invited all to watch the still warm embers. In their glow we saw each other’s faces and learned each other’s names and some of our stories. And so we came to care for one another, becoming a community transcending place to answer the longing in our hearts.
