I wish to appeal for love and healing of Vladimir Putin - a case of loving the soul while disapproving of the actions. Part of what lies behind his invasion of Ukraine is an exceptionally major trauma that his family lived through, which clearly remains as a deep trauma in his consciousness. This Ukrainian war is an intensely personal matter for Putin - as well as being a matter which, from the perspective of Russian history and strategy, is understandable. I am NOT seeking to defend the invasion of Ukraine, but rather, to place it in some perspective.
