A bow in reverence to Martin Luther King today…
11:09:37 From Diane SKIDMORE to Everyone:
In answer to your first question: What does the Climate Movement do now? Push for United Doughnut Economics. A world-wide unified movement please. (Copies of the book sent today to Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak and local people too.) Yes. Radical Collaboration. - here's a process we can all use!!
11:09:45 From MARIA PATRICIA PRADO to Everyone:

11:17:43 From Diane SKIDMORE to Everyone:
(Although in Lambeth, XR is planning stuff very soon as - the council make a lot of noise about being 'first to sign up for Climate Emergency' but - what have they done? I'm still doing stuff with XR xxx)
11:18:28 From Stanley Pokras to Richard Buckley(Direct Message):
Thank you.
11:18:36 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Globally planned, regionally organized and locally executed, planetary actions
11:18:51 From Andre Sheldon to Everyone:
Hello Jim and Rupert and Everyone,
This is Andre Sheldon. I spoke with Jim last week about an Emergency Plan that is prepared to capture the world’s attention and KEEP IT!
On this day commemorating Martin Luther King in the U.S., I humbly, but boldly, would like to announce a plan to unite the climate movement and the peace movement that is ready now!
The strategy proposed is for women leaders in the climate movement to join together, then ask women leaders in the peace movement to join – then ask the men to join to begin a “CHAIN REACTION” of prominent, non-governmental women and men leaders coming together around the world to create the largest “people movement” ever seen!
We are planning to present the plan to start the movement to UN Sec-General Guterres.
I would love to tell you the details.
Andre Sheldon

11:19:06 From Stanley Pokras to Richard Buckley(Direct Message):
Did you see Kurt Johnson's email about the Wise Ones meeting?
11:19:19 From Diane SKIDMORE to Everyone:
The 'failure' of COP was not a surprise tho surely!! We KNEW they wouldn't listen but - it did open the eyes of ordinary people - I think. The movement is till growing!!
11:19:24 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
The only difference between an international quarantine and a Global #GeneralStrike is…..
THE PERMISSION
11:19:41 From Diane SKIDMORE to Everyone:
*still - not till
11:19:58 From Andre Sheldon to Everyone:
Unfortunately I have to leave for an appointment, but here is a brief example.
Let's Step Up - Yes
Here is an Example: Activist Greta Thunberg, Naomi Klein – climate authority and activist, Vandana Shiva from India, Gail Bradbrook of XR, UN climate representative Christiana Figueres, and others join together, then ask Beatrice Fihn – Exec. Director of ICAN, Arundhati Roy from India, Nobel Peace Laureates Leymah Gbowee and Mairead Maguire, Dr. Helen Caldicott – founder of Women’s Action for Nuclear Disarmament, and others to join together.
11:20:20 From Jen Forti to Everyone:
Let our frustration be motivation for revolution
11:20:25 From Diane SKIDMORE to Everyone:
Indeed. Every human being needs to play a better more conscious and more responsible game
11:20:52 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
Very useful - thank you, Rupert
11:20:58 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Aho, Jen!
11:21:37 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:
We need to talk more about human extinction. Joe Brewer is the ONLY one who is talking about that. This is WAY more than ‘just’ the planet!
11:21:47 From Jean Stevens to Everyone:
Sounds like a wonderful idea Sheldon. Peace & climate activists joining hands for a peaceful & sustainable future!
11:21:59 From Andre Sheldon to Host and Panelists:
Dear Jim and Rupert,
I would love to communicate with you, Rupert, and tell you the details of a plan to unite the people! I spoke with Jim about it last week. May I send you an email? Unfortunately, I have to leave for an appointment in 15 minutes.
Andre Sheldon
Andre@GlobalStrategyofNonviolence.org
11:22:05 From AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Everyone:
Glasgow COP such a tremendous waste of possibility. Tragic.
11:22:08 From AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Everyone:
Criminal
11:23:02 From AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Everyone:
The fossil fuel lobby has been Calling the “shots” on war-making for decades. Criminal
11:23:06 From Andre Sheldon to Everyone:
The plan is a World-Wide Unity Campaign via a Global Movement of Nonviolence, For the Children (GMofNV) led by WOMEN (as the first to unite), but it is for everyone, as the Civil Rights Movement was for everyone, not just black people. Research has shown that the uniting elements are “no violence” and the “welfare of the children.”
We need both a climate movement and a peace movement or both will fail!
Thank you. Peace and Love!
Andre Sheldon
Andre@GlobalStrategyofNonviolence.org
11:23:09 From Jean Stevens to Everyone:
Yes, Andre Sheldon. Those are wonderful representatives!
11:24:33 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:
How does Rupert see the influence of populist thinking on making this shift?
11:24:58 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
You had me at ‘COP Proper’ - just the fact that there was an inside and outside shows the separation - I remember from HR speakers coming in from then…
11:26:00 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Is it possible to have Tim Cross research the ability for British subjects to hold their Queen to these direct contracts between the Crown and the Mohawk contract from 500 years ago?
11:27:16 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
In the same context of Tim Cross speaking about the human right to stand up to misled governance.
11:28:22 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
Thanks for that perception - yes empowering
11:28:27 From Andre Sheldon to Everyone:
Thank you Jean. The plan is for the women leaders to issue a CALL to WOMEN and ask women everywhere to be FIRST to rise-up and unite, then ask the men.
The women will coordinate nonviolent direct action in every village, town, and city in every country -- FOR the CHILDREN, FOR the CLIMATE, FOR the FUTURE!
We need hyperbole and boldness!
I am running to my appointment. Thank you.
Andre@GlobalStrategyofNonviolence.org
For more info, send me an email.
11:28:40 From Diane SKIDMORE to Everyone:
Yes, Rupert, time for the people to stand up and be counted!!!!! (And Jim)
11:29:22 From Diane SKIDMORE to Everyone:
Andre Sheldon - Brilliant!!!
11:29:22 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
We need to look further back and align narratives that our leaderships committed to 100’s of years ago
11:29:25 From Judy Hanmer to Everyone:
It feels as if we need to act on a local level, as David Gershon suggests?
11:29:48 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Judy, yes!
11:30:10 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Globally planned, regionally organized and locally executed; planetary actions.
11:30:26 From Diane SKIDMORE to Everyone:
Yes Judy!! Start small - maybe Women first (re Andre Sheldon above) xxx
11:30:35 From Judy Hanmer to Everyone:
So we should be posting these ideas on our local Faceebook pages.
11:31:18 From Diane SKIDMORE to Everyone:

11:31:23 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:

11:31:28 From Richard Buckley to Stanley Pokras(Direct Message):
Yes. Thank you. Will try to make it.I will be finishing a medical appointment.
11:31:58 From Judy Hanmer to Everyone:
And (in my case, in an English village, writing in local parish magazines. People just need to become more aware so that they can join together in small groups to act.
11:32:31 From Joy Gilfilen to Everyone:
Boy do I agree with that. The youth have nimbleness of expression and how to use socail media...and the roles of "eldershipping" skills must expand...not from an arrogant domination; but to bring forward our wisdom to invent a new future.
11:32:50 From AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Everyone:
Hey, Judy, I too publish in my congregational newsletter! Humble but something!
11:33:31 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Broadening the narrative BEYOND the climate, to suggest that the problem is the Colonial MIndset, as the current supplychain is a direct reflection of colonial mindset
11:33:32 From Judy Hanmer to Everyone:
Good on you Amy!
11:34:02 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Deep dive into colonial treaty

WASHINGTON STATE, Joy!
11:36:36 From David Allen to Host and Panelists:
Hi Jim and all, from Brighton, UK. Jim, could we arrange a chat please? I have an idea which I believe is a game-changer > in the sphere of comms. Best wishes, Dave
11:36:50 From Joy Gilfilen to Everyone:
Washington State could be he one that worked. We have had a huge effort here in the past on "evergreen" state...with many of the Kayaktivists, Shell No, and so many others...
11:36:57 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Transitional Governance built upon precolonial democratic processes like Indigenous consensus and greek era citizens assembly
11:37:50 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Neighborocracy and a global council of watershed Grandmothers.
11:37:55 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
Even as an attorney, admittedly I feel like such an uphill (and maybe waste of time) to do so in SC. Perhaps very local levels as per David G’s conversation last week. But the state and even city govts here seem pretty set in on ruining the land with big development ($), just to mention one aspect.
11:38:27 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
I am reading the book now… ground up. That may be the aspect of hope on this one…
11:38:28 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:
Get your local folks involved in gardening in ways that sink caron. Help cool the planet AND learn how to feed yourself and others.
11:38:40 From AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Everyone:
We need to be wise as serpents in realizing that many of our locales that stick out as promoting a Power Shift (which usually includes distributing hoarded wealth) are then attacked, often covertly.
11:38:49 From Lynnea Franks to Everyone:
POD by community POD as I am doing here with my SEED Network in the UK
11:38:56 From Joy Gilfilen to Everyone:
Yes...we would have to navigate the restorative and regenerative economic challenges as a social action. For humans must be moved AT THEIR HEART LEVEL. It is emotional work...not just intellectual.
11:39:24 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Lets speak about treaty law and the human right to hold governments accountable to laws 100’s and 100’s of years old?
11:40:02 From Jean Stevens to Everyone:
A global We Are the World nod a global LiveAid resurrection of music, art, popular culture/media personalities to rise up and also raise money and awareness of the need for global climate, humanitarian, peace needs. Discussion with Art placards showing/exposing all of the need for global divestment of corporations killing us via fossil fuels and weapons manufacture. We haven’t time left. A new Cold War is upon us plus eight years left to fix climate change. The money raised can go to those like the city movement for goals of 2030 and Bill McKibben’s new elder movement.
11:40:37 From Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Everyone:
What is the Global Regeneration Corps doing? Any movement?
11:40:50 From Joy Gilfilen to Everyone:
Yes Magazine is out of WA and so are so many other groups...but we need a galvanizing focus...and the issue is turning around fear and putting it to work building the courage to get to work. It is not an external movement...it is an internal issue...
11:41:27 From AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Everyone:
Sorry to raise a negative, but from my experience in Minneapolis, those large righteous crowds were used as cover by folks with different agendas. Some wanted burning buildings as “good optics” for political ads and propaganda.
11:41:31 From Katherine Augustine to Everyone:
Also wanting to support people taking it seriously AND from a consciousness perspective to hold the vision. Finding a harmony of the two states…
11:41:59 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Feb 2020, indigenous people and their supporters stopped the Canadian Railway for 3 WEEKS, then in 2021 the FARMERS strike in India , when 200+ million people went ON STRIKE
11:42:04 From Jean Stevens to Everyone:
The UK is now trying to stop huge peaceful demonstrations such as Extinction Rebellion. A scary development.
11:42:07 From Larissa Chuprina to Everyone:

11:42:40 From Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Everyone:
Jean, Let’s do it! MAGINE!

11:42:41 From Diane SKIDMORE to Everyone:
In fact, gotta leave this meeting now to do something for reporter from Daily Express or Telegraph (not sure which one). Just had a phone call, "Can you send copies of your bills or something to show the fuel poverty situation". Spread the word indeed hahaha
11:42:42 From David Woollcombe to Everyone:
What does anyone know about progress on the impressive announcements made about the UK Government’s “World Beating Climate Change Education” plans announced by Nadim Zahawi at the COP - with the National Education Nature Park etc. I’ve heard nothing! Has anyone?? David Woollcombe
11:42:55 From Diane SKIDMORE to Everyone:
Get the word out there!! I WILL!!!
11:43:05 From Lynnea Franks to Everyone:
What about the bill going through government today in the UK to stop all protests!!
11:43:24 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Amy, it is what we BUILD not burn that will show our positive forward movement… seeding conversations with good ideas is part of our purpose.
11:44:19 From shannon CrossBear to Everyone:
Why do we not support our water protectors. Indigenous across the globe are very much "out there by themselves" Non violent action and many facing charges …These direct actions have been happening and yet the political will is not here to actual create or support direct action.
11:44:23 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Can Rupert speak to the erosion of XR due to the perception of its ‘whiteness’ and lack of efforts to be inclusive; primarily in the USA
11:44:23 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Larissa, last week you were in the AfterChat! Yes, let’s connect!
11:46:22 From m monk to Everyone:
When a species is so successful in evolution that it outbreeds its resources that species goes extinct. Why is there a taboo on saying there are too many humans? Would it be possible to make it against the law across the planet for a female to have more then one child?
11:46:26 From Joy Gilfilen to Everyone:
I have learned that it is more powerful and more effective to stand up for something, rather than stand up against something. Being realistic in assessing truth in the middle is essential...
Dealing with REAL FEAR vs. Fake FEAR --- which is Fabricated Evidence Acting Real. The discussion of learning how to dialog on purpose...to heal and love and nurture our children. The opposition knows how to fight back with military gear and "the law" behind them where they can FAKE the narrative.
11:47:01 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Shannon, well said
11:47:01 From shannon CrossBear to Everyone:
That frustration has been here for our indigenous communities for generations. Invisibility.
11:47:22 From Robert Hayes to Host and Panelists:
is the Insulate Britain something that you might see as the "moderate flank"?
11:47:55 From Joy Gilfilen to Everyone:
We want to be effective and inclusive and grassroots emotional power inside our root chakras connected to our hands, and feet, running through our heart and the center of our brain.
11:48:11 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Shannon, I have been talking about ways to broaden the narrative that governments from 100’s of years ago agreed/made agreements that are long disrespected
11:48:16 From Joy Gilfilen to Everyone:
It's connecting the cosmic heart...
11:48:38 From Joy Gilfilen to Everyone:

11:52:05 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:
Stand FOR survival and forget stopping anything. If we act for survival we will address everything that needs to addressed. If feels better, it is practical AND you can move people into LIFE positive, survival positive actions WITHOUT even talking about climate, so those actions become open to everyone without provoking confrontation.
11:52:07 From Jim Garrison to David Allen, Host and Panelists:
Email me with your proposal.
11:52:30 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
It is where we pour out from that will make the difference, imho. Our presence on the streets allow visibility but gathering together to grow our own food is even more important. The streets will not feed our kids.
11:52:58 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:
Great Shannon
11:53:37 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:

11:55:19 From Jean Stevens to Everyone:
Antonio Nombre’s Amazonian discussion last week was super important. His suggestion of huge demonstrations and Nuremberg type trials of corporations (Korea has slave camps making $billions for nuke bombs in Europe and the Middle East) whom are killing us all. I also believe zoom, TV, YouTube & social media concurrent media blitz.
11:56:34 From jude Asphar to Everyone:
Surely for us to be made to consume less fossil fuels and its products — to reduce the demand and understand our profit based petroculture’ and change the market. Gas prices should increase here in the US and we should be told why and begin to damn well sacrifice more, ourselves
11:56:55 From Joy Gilfilen to Everyone:
When we move the middle class out of inertia and fear of stepping out and losing their status...they have the power inside thieir circles of influence...to move 1 degree and cause swaths to move.
11:57:07 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
There are ongoing attacks happening, in so called Canada, whereby indigenous people are being cleared out of the way for pipeline construction
11:57:55 From Mary Thorp_WV to Everyone:
Who would oversee those Nurenberg-like trials?
11:58:00 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Crimes against indigenous people, by the hands of colonial governance
11:58:22 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:
WE need to work on OUR survival NOW
11:58:37 From Joy Gilfilen to Everyone:
Wasting time punishing people is wasted emotional and psychological power - for the persecution of persecutors doesn't work functionally. We are out of time. We need restorative justice, regenerative debates, revitalizing economic alternatives that bring the kids together with the adutls with the silent generation NOW...
11:58:54 From Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Everyone:
YES. Call them out. TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION. Making criminals DO SOMETHING in recompense.
11:59:07 From Jean Stevens to Everyone:
The trials could be by a large citizen groups such as Extinction
Rebellion to gain publicity. This instead of the COP 27.

One thing we all could do would be to pick an industry and flood that industry with mail and prospects for regulation. One industry that comes to mind is the packaging industry. We could all write to industry members such as food packagers to encourage them to stop using styrofoam or other plastics.
12:04:00 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:
Feb 2020, indigenous people in Canada and their supporters helped STOP the Canadian railway for 21 DAYS!!!! Then in India, 2021, Farmers went of strike ….200+ Million people

12:09:26 From Joy Gilfilen to Host and Panelists:
I would like to invite Rupert, Bill McKibbon, and the Roger to do this discussion using the Intentional Change Model - to move into radical truthtelling in real time. We could use Ian and me to pull this discussion into direct solution making. That is the point of those three days anyway...lets take the challenge and move it up/

We had the BEST in the world at one time - streetcars ALL OVER! I used to go to my Grandmothers home on them. The auto/oil companies conspired to get “MODERN Freeways” and sell the streetcars to Latin America.

Two things I'm challenged by: (1) visioning myself successfully acting within the moderate flank and (2) dealing with and neutralizing saboteurs within that keep me from expressing my highest self.

12:14:35 From Joy Gilfilen to Host and Panelists:
We must unite the smartest and brightes...and fighting the COP o;r the street cops is way too late. We must adapt how we think about systemic change...that is Intentional Change.
I love this guy...he is moving forward in thinking...and that is innovative.

Radical truth telling? Hopefully there will be remnants that survive the coming collapse (see Gem Bendell and Guy McPherson) who will be able to put into practice regenerative policies aimed at sustainable living. Three questions for Rupert Read:
1) Does the failure of COP26 indicate the need for a radical reassessment of what we’re doing? (You’ve already answered this)
2) Isn’t it time to admit that we are trapped on a very destructive, over-crowded sinking ship?
3) Is ER considering what we can do now that will help those remnants who survive succeed?
12:17:08 From Kevin He/him Canada to Host and Panelists:

No doubt full adaptation is necessary immediately, as well as drawdown/sequestration. However these actions may be mute now if we dont deal with the heat imbalance with some form of albedo reflection

Rupert - my phone number is 360-739-7493. If you call, text first to say it is you so I pick up. I am working on every single one of the issues you are talking about in Bellingham, Whatcom County, WA - at the border of the US between Seattle and Vancouver.
